Washington, DC -- The Nationals take 2 out of 3 from the popular choice to get to the playoffs, without Stephen Strasburg the Nationals starting pitching allowed only 3 runs, and the bullpen was lights out yielding 0 runs. The offense has showed it will be able to produce runs but needs to start taking pitchers deep into the count as they batted only .237 and had 28 strike outs. The Nationals have a day off on Monday before taking their team on a 7 game road trip to Florida Marlins and the New York Mets before returning home to see the Philadelphia Phillies.
