My Road To Cooperstown - RTTS [MLB '11 The Show]

    Game: MLB '11 The Show
    Mode: Road to The Show
    Difficulty: Custom Sliders
    Position: CF/SS
    Name: Adam Tucker

    ----------------------

Welcome to My Road To Cooperstown.

As you can tell from the title, I'm not looking to just make it in the major leagues, I'm looking to go all the way, through the World Series, through to the Hall of Fame.

I may have set high expectations for myself here, but my opinion is, if you don't believe you can get there, who will?

I'm a 6'3", 215lb Center Fielder and will occasionally play shortstop. I have some speed and prefer contact over power.

The draft is coming up this week, so obviously I'm a little nervous. I grew up a life-long fan of the Pirates so hopefully I go there, although any opportunity to play the game I love will be welcomed with opened arms.

    2011 MLB Draft

    Well, what can I say?

I'm very happy to have been drafted, and would like to thank the Diamondbacks organization for believing in me enough to select me.

I plan to give everything I possibly can to this organization, my new teammates and the fans of Arizona.

    -----------

I'm currently playing in the AA league team, Mobile BayBears. I plan to, again give my all for this organization. Here we go!

It's been a great start to my career so far. I've completed the goals coach gave me for the last few weeks, and plan to fulfill the rest he gives me.

My game on 4/22 was my best effort so far. Going 4-5, and batting in 3 RBIs.

The team is 9-10 as of right now. It's only early so hopefully we can hit a groove and get a good enough record to play into October.

      God, I love this!

I'm now closing in on June and I've hit my first homerun! It was a rush, but I quickly came back down to earth and had a 3 game cold streak. I'm one of the best batters on the team, but still need to work on my power. I'd love to hit a few more out of the park.

The team is doing fairly well, we are currently 24-23, 2nd in the division.

          --------------

Note: I'll be getting screenshots in later this week, currently without the right electronics for it, so bare with me. And thanks to any and all who are following I promise to make it much more interesting, especially when I get to the majors!

            <>

The Arizona Diamondbacks have traded RP Leo Rosales and CF Adam Tucker to the Minnesota Twins for 1B Jim Thome and RP Matt Capps.

            ----------------------

I'm a Minnesota Twin now? Alright. I know it's a business, so no hard feelings for anyone in the Diamondbacks organization. I'm happy to bring my skills and enthusiasm to Minnesota.

Now it's time to get back to work.

My first few games in Minnesota was a test and weren't very good. Awful, actually. I went on a bad 4 game cold streak, until finally hitting my groove.

I had a game where I hit in 3 RBIs and had 2 doubles. Besides my only 4-5 game a few weeks back, this was probably my best game, it was definitely my finest effort so far with the Rock Cats.

I look forward to the future and hopefully getting the call-up sometime this year! Let's see what the future brings for me.

                  ROCHESTER REDWINGS

I've worked hard these past few months and finally feel it's paying off. The organization clearly seen enough in me to move me up to AAA and I plan to continue my success (and 5 game hit streak) in Rochester!

Yeah! It's tougher than AA, obviously, but I'm getting in a groove and having some bad games, but some good ones too. Hopefully my good luck continues and I get to the next level soon! Although whatever the boss decides is good with me. Glad to be playing this great game.. and getting $75K a year for it ain't too bad either!

OfficialAT.com -- I've opened my own web-site for my fans to read my blogs, tweets, posts, view photos, videos and more!

I'm now at the AAA level, on my way to being a MLB star!

Currently, I'm playing CF/SS with the Rochester Redwings. I'm getting great playings time, they're keeping faith in me as a starter, although my move up was due to an injury to their starter, but I'm gonna make the most of it.

I'm happy with my performance so far. It's been testy moving up to AAA as the pitchers obviously are better, but I feel I'm just as good or better. The team is below .500, and probably won't be playing in October, but I'm playing the game I love and have a great salary to go with it. It's all about making the dream come true!

I've seen a few scouts during some road games, not sure if they're there to see me, but they seen me anyway! Hope I made a good impression.

Thanks for taking the time to read! Couldn't do it without you.

                          OfficialAT.com -- Hello again fans!

I just finished a few more weeks here and had a great 7 game hitting streak, as well as a 2 homerun game! Ok, one was inside the park, but is that not MORE impressive?! I also got a homer a few games later which is really helping build my confidence, especially in my power.

The team continues to struggle, but it's fun just playing and I'm given an opportunity not many people get, so I'm making the most of it.

I'm pretty happy with my average and I'll let you in on a secret: pitches down low are definitely my favorite to hit. So to any opponents reading this: Watch out!

                            2011 Season Wrap-Up

OfficialAT.com -- The 2011 season is over. We didn't get to the playoffs, but I did have a lot of fun here and the guys are great. The fans are amazing and I couldn't ask for a better group of coaches.

I had a great season, batting over .300, hitting 4 homeruns and batting in several runs. I felt I couldn't do any better fielding, although the few errors I had still eat away at me.

The Yankees won the World Series as far as MLB news goes.

I am nervous as to where I end up next season, we'll see where this goes!

Note: I plan to update on more games as I get to the MLB, just trying to get there quick right now lol.

OfficialAT.com -- I just wanna let you guys know I signed another one year deal with the Twins, for their AAA team Rochester Redwings, for $60,000.00.

I hope to continue my success and hopefully we can get enough wins to play some extra games this year!
