    ESPN.com news services

Bryce Harper was seen today at Nationals practice as they get ready for there first game tomorrow. The Nationals Said he was starting the season off in AAA but, it does not seem so.Harper averaged last year with Hagerstown .318 but when he was sent to AA he averaged .256. He has only been in the league 1 year in both of those team he averaged .297. Last year he hit 17 home runs and stole 27 bases. all of his stats majorly decreased from the transition to AA. No one knows how this year might be. May he create some National Notice?

ESPN BREAKING NEWS: Nationals Get Andrew McCutchen

Washington DC -- The Nationals have gotten Andrew MucCutchen in a trade today sendingWilson Ramos to Pittsburg. This is a great trade for both teams leaning a little more towords the nats though Andrew MucCutchen is way better than Wilson Ramos
      Trade Details
      PITPittsburghWSHWashington
      Pirates Get:
      C Wilson Ramos
      Nationals Get:
      LF Andrew McCutchen
In this order with no catcher the Nationals have called up Garrett Thrash who was averaging a 3.01 in AAA last year and hit 29 home runs. i think he can he can at least average a .280 in MLB but you never know. With him in the line up thats 2 rookies Bryce Harper Garrett Thash.

I don't like that trade. McCutchen is the Pirates franchise player and it would take a lot more to deal him away from them.

Congratulations, you acquired a franchise player for an average (at best) catcher...that just isn't right, at all. I don't even think the Pirates would deal McCutchen at all, unless you offered them such a lucrative offer that they couldn't possibly decline. Like a 2 or 3 superstar package for just McCutchen. But if you're going for realism than its a failure. But if you want a super team that you'll win every game by 10+ runs, you're on the right track. May I suggest trading John Lannon for Justin Verlander next?

If you're going for realism then you wouldn't have even made the trade at all. Just because the game thinks that the trade is fine doesn't mean it is. That one is on you, not the game.

Play some exhibition games, see what you like and don't like about a few teams and go from there. I have to pick a team that I have some kind of interest in, like right now, I am prepping for a Cubs franchise. That's just what works for me, but everyone is different. If I were you I'd run with the Phillies.
