Dodger Trading Block

With The Walton family's well, winning of the Dodgers. They put out an official Trade Block. We put the Walton's suggested values on each player...

-Chris Caupano: would like a Stolmy Pimental (C) type deal back

-Aaron Harang: would like a Trevor May (B) type deal back

-Carl Crawford: would like a Trevor May and Leonardo Castro (B & C) type deal back

-Josh Beckett: would like at least cash considerations back

-Shane Victorino: would like a Hak-Ju Lee and Drew Vettleson (2 B's) type deal back

END OF MONTH RECAP: FRONT OFFICE EDITION

-The Minnesota Twins got bought out by Lucchino and sons sports group LLC for 59.9 million USD.

-The Dodgers were taken over by the Walton sports group. Also known as the owners of Wal-Mart. Fire-Sale will be happening soon. Expected to get rid of top players Dee Gordon, A-Gon, Carl Crawford, etc. as well as possibly Clayton Kershaw. Teams that have scouted the 24 year old were the Padres and the Blue Jays. Most likely suitors for Kershaw and A-Gon are the Padres and BJ's respectivly. Several teams have been in on both players.

-The Red Sox owner and CEO was asassianated by a unknown sniper. Tom Werner is the interem CEO and owner of the Red Sox. They are expected to be sold at the end of the season.

There are 2 big trades to talk about when the clock struck 12:00. It was like there was some rule against big trades before June 1.

-Tigers acquire SS A.Cabrera, OF G.Sizemore, and OF S.Choo for 3B N.Castellanos and CF M.Bourn

-Red Sox acquire SS prospect Gavin Cecchini and prospect RHP Jenrry Meja for OF B.Upton

Fun Fact:

Padres acquire Adrian Gonzalez Again

-The Padres do the rare re-acquire of 1B A-Gon. He is just the first victim of what looks to be a firesale in LA.

-Padres move Yonder Alanso to RF

-The Padres will ship prospects RHP John Barbato, 1B Kyle Blanks, and 3B Edison Rincon as well as MLB ready players C Nick Hundley and RHP Cory Burns.

-The Padres also acquire OF Matt Angle as a part of the deal. Heres what A-Gon had to say "It's sad that I had to leave LA after not even playing a year there. But I am more happy than sad because I get to come back to my hometown of SD and will hopefully start a win-now scenerio here with the new owner George McGovern.
