MLB 13 The Show Dynasty: What team should I use?

I'm thinking about starting up a dynasty on Operation Sports, but I want some input about what team you guys think I should use. I've narrowed it down to the following teams:

- Baltimore Orioles (have a good young core; getting them back to the playoffs would be cool)
- Toronto Blue Jays (help them bounce back from terrible season, lots of trade opportunity)
- Cleveland Indians (so close this year, so they just need that one move to put them over the top)
- Seattle Mariners (tough to compete with them, but their farm is amazing)
- New York Mets (love the young guys on this team, I have a plan for what I'd do with them)

What do you guys want to see?

My suggestion would be to pick a team no one else has used or a team that's dynasty has died on the boards. As baseball season is winding down, doing a monotonous team would probably not peak interest. Here's a couple I'd go with if I was starting now:


- Braves
- Mets
- Phillies
- Brewers
- Giants
- Indians
- White Sox

In the end, it has to be a team you think you'll enjoy playing with. If it's a team you want people to follow, make it one that's new.

I started a season with Seattle early on but lost interest. I'm going to start a franchise now and hopefully keep it going until MLB 14 comes out. You think the Mets would be a good choice?

Personally Yes.

I can't speak for the board, but the Mets would be my choice out of the five listed. It's a challenging team with a few pieces with an average farm system.

The Mets provide an opportunity to showcase your additions to the team. The outfield, middle infield and bullpen need the most work, and those are every-day positions that can be showcased. It will be interesting to see what you do with the Mets.
