Made the trip from Erie to Altoona in Pennsylvania, luckily we didn't lose our edge as we smashed the Curve by the score of 10-0, and I loved every minute of it. I reached base four gtimes, going 2 for 4 with 2 walks, two singles, an RBI, and 2 runs scored. Late in the game though I kinda pissed some people off, my coaches included, when I stole a base in the 9th inning. But they asked for it, pitching me up and in, and then throwing over to first, TWICE! When they knew I wasn't going anywhere, so....

Given the day off yesterday to think about my actions, I did all I could to impress coach on Wednesday, going 2 for 5 with 2 singles, increasing my hit streak to 12 games in a slim 2-1 victory over Altoona, our 5th win in a row.

I love this game. Down to my last at bat in the bottom of the 9th, and trailing 1-0, I laced a one out double, increasing my streak to lucky 13, while also setting up the big guy, who's two run double gave us a stunning 2-1 win over Binghamton, our 6th in succession.

I hate this game. Easy come easy go right? After working so hard, my hit streak went bye bye when I struck out on a 6th inning pinch hit attempt with two outs and a man on third. Worse than that, we lost to Binghamton by the score of 4-2, ending our win streak as well.

We are smokin' right now! With another three game win streak under our belts(and 9 of 10) we've stretched our legs in the division, taking an 8 game lead on 2nd place Bowie(my former team thank you very much).
Unfortunately, the boys have been raking without me as I not done so hot lately. On Saturday, I went 1 for 4 with a single and 2 strikeouts, I HATE STRIKEOUTS! Anyway, we defeated Binghamton 3-2.
After a day off of Sunday(a 2-0 win over Binghamton), and an off day on Monday,
I was right back at it on Tuesday, striking out some more in a 5-0 win over the Fisher Cats. Overall I was again 1 for 4 with a double, a walk and 2 ugly K's. Coach says I'm being too patient, letting too many good pitches go by early in the count, and after watching the video, I can see his point. Tomorrow I plan on going out and being more aggressive.

That's more like it, Woo! I gotta hand it to coach, he was so right and the payoff was instant! Looking to be more aggressive, I went 3 for 4 with a double, 2 runs scored, and a walk in a 6-0 thumping of New Hampshire. Man I feel great, day game tomorrow. Can not wait!

Got a little dose of reality today. In the finale against New Hampshire, they ran out veteran big league pitcher Joel Piñeiro who's attempting to make a comeback. I know he's 36 but man he had some filthy stuff, his ability to change speeds was miles above most of the talent down here. Anyway I went 1 for 4 with an RBI triple and two strikeouts, in a 5-3 loss.

Casey has got to strikeout less if he doesn't want B.J. Upton references from me.

This looks great so far can't wait to see whats happens.

Anyone who knows me, knows I'm a huge stickler for realism, and because of that I'm putting an end to this. Following my last progression, I'm rated a 79 Overall, and was called up to the big leagues, as a first year draftee. No good, not for me. The combination of a very low difficulty for the first 4 months combined with an abuse of licensed equipment made Casey progress too far too fast. On top of that, when I started I never reinstated the injured MLB players to the 40 man roster, meaning that in all likelihood a ton of stars are gone from the game. Because of these factors, I'm starting over(as a different player of course, in a completely different RTTS story). The good news is I'll be able to correct my mistakes with the roster, and I can manually cap my progression to correlate with the rest of the league. The bad news of course is that this is finished. Casey's knee finally gave way, finishing his career before it ever really got underway. That's my story and I'm sticking too it.
