    Sunday April 24th, 2016

    (5-12) Fisher Cats - 2
    (8-9) Fightin' Phils - 3

Is that a light I see? Finally had a productive day at the plate, went 1 for 3 with an RBI sac fly and a two run single to help us take the rubber match of the series over New Hampshire. After the game coach told me to keep at it, my AB's were getting better, my swing selection was better. Now I just need to get back in the field.

Like Barry fu@#& Bonds! I know we lost, and that I made a couple of base running errors(that I got my *** reamed for), but hell it felt good out there today, easily my best game as a professional. 5 for 6, three doubles, two RBI. In this one game my average went from like .250 to over .300
Crazy! Coach was pissed about the loss, especially since we lost the lead really late, but even so, he did pull me aside and say nice hitting, he even surprised me with the game ball from my 5th hit.

Coming off the game of my life, I was merely ordinary today. 1 for 2 with a walk and an RBI sac fly. We lost again though, and it sucks, just can't seem to string together a bunch of wins. Tell you one thing, coach has just about had enough.

Three fly outs and a ground out, topped off by another loss. Bull****. We're better than this. After the game, coach made an announcement, said it's been about a month and one thing is obvious, changes need to be made, changes for the good of the club, but more importantly for the good of the organization. Business has just picked up.....

Had a pretty lively bus ride all the way up to Portland, guys are genuinely worried about what's coming, lots of nervous chatter. Once we got there....nothing. Not a word. We sucked again of course, I was 0 for 4 and to make matters worse I struck out to end the game, ugh.

Awful, awful day today. Cold, rainy and miserable, and worst of all we lost again, that's five straight. Our offense is simply nonexistent. Personally, I snapped my 0 for 9 by going 2 for 3, but that's not the story today, no siree Bob!
After the game coach stops me, says I had a couple of good AB's and to come see him in his office after I shower and dress. I was petrified, thought I was going down to Lakewood or Clearwater. Anyway I get to his office, I have a seat and he asks, "Have you seen the depth chart at center" I said sure I have, its a logjam." He then says the organization thinks my skills would play well in right field, and maybe even third base. I said Franco's at third, he said you're right that's why you're going to right field, he then asked if I'm game. Hell yes I said, anything not to DH. He laughed, "I knew you didn't like it, but you needed to get AB's" "Oh I completely understand, I said. "and I'm grateful, believe me. When do I start in right?"
"Tomorrow." Lemme get a hell yeah!

Got a new Les Paul, and it's been eating just about all of my free time lately, but I'm making it a point to get back into this ASAP. New update today, with more to follow most likely on Monday.

Tough game today, losing sucks. We've now lost six straight, and we're 8-15, we need a win, badly. As for the game itself, my first in right field, it was a personal success. I made a couple of plays, and went 3 for 7 at the dish with a double, a homer, two ribbies and a run. Just wish we'd have won.
