A New Era in the Bronks: Yankees Franchise
The Yankees have been known to be the team to just throw money around to get anyone they want. Though know they have built some younger core with the acquisitions of Aaron Hicks, Starlin Castro and with the soon call ups in Aaron Judge, Jorge Mateo and Domingo German. So I will be looking to build on some of the youth we currently have. I will be looking to trade away some of the older guys and get even more youth talent. For the first season i’m going to be simming month by month and posting recap of those. Then after the first season I will post series recaps in month sections. So let's get the Yankees their next ring and gets this franchise going!

Re: A New Era in the Bronks: Yankees Franchise
Spring Training Stats and Season Preview:
Who was Hot?: Brett Gardner had 12 RBI with a .326 AVG, Brian McCann 4 HR, 16 RBI adn .329 AVG and Didi Gregoriuos was the hottest of all Yanks with 15 RBI and .348 AVG. Tanaka went 3-0 with 26 K’s and Phil Coke also had a strong spring with a 1.08 ERA.
Who was Cold?: Eovaldi struggled with a 2-4 record and 4.70 ERA, Bird only had a .228 AVG, 3rd baseman Solano had a .233 AVG in 86 at bats.
Season Expectations: I’m hoping that our Yankees will be able to finish either 2nd or 3rd in the standings. As well as one of my goals this season is to be able to offload some contracts and bring in younger talent. We also will be looking to find another outfielder and a new shortstop.Last edited by Hinkleyyy; 08-23-2016, 10:28 AM.Check out my Streams on Twitch. Re: A New Era in the Bronks: Yankees Franchise
Yankees April Recap
Month Review: Our Yankees had a rough start to the season losing opening day. The main reason for the losses was the bullpen. During late games we would give up runs and not be able to respond once our starters left the game. Also Brian McCann’s injury hurt the team and the Yankees added Kyle Higashioka to the 40-man roster and called him to the MLB.

Recap of Top-4 Pick
1.Yankees take Catcher Johnny Espinoza the 19 year old who was being scouted for a while and luckily was there for the Yankees to pick up in the draft. So Gary Sanchez may be getting some looks at 1B in the near future. As of now Johnny has great fielding but will need to develop his bat if he wants to make it in the MLB.
2.Next, Yankees take the Georgia native Steve Zapata to possibly be a close piece to Derek Jeter. He has the fielding but like Espinoza he will also need to develop his bat in the minors to get a chance in the show.
3.Wes Tate was taking 3rd and may not have the look of a major leaguer but at N. Carolina he hit .482 and had 17 homers. Even though he is 21 he still has great potential.
4.4th pick was pitcher Marshall Wheatley and he was a great pick. He out of all draft picks has the most upside and will possibly be the first to make it to the MLB. A major plus of Marshall is his breaking balls and velocity.

Re: A New Era in the Bronks: Yankees Franchise
Yankees Mid-Season Recap
So far the Yankees have pretty much met my expectations for this team. We are currently 52-52 after the trade deadline day. Our most notable points of this season are acquiring All-Star slugger Carlos Gonzalez, Gary Sanchez showing his potential during McCann’s injury and Nathan Eovaldi having another great season in a Yankees uniform. As of now our Yankees still have a chance to get the wild card but we will need to starting winning on a regular bases.
