    Timberwolves Draft Picks
    2010
Pick #4 - SF/PF John Henson, North Carolina
    - 69 overall. He's a long and athletic hybrid who can put the ball on the court and take it down low. Doesn't excel at any one thing, is just an all-around solid player.
    Pick #31 - PF/C David Pittman, Texas
    - 59 overall. A big body in the paint who is there to eat up boards and minutes. Hopefully he will develop into a defensive stopper.

New outlook on things...going to sim the 2009 NBA Season and then start fresh in 2010.

I was going to make a website...but nope...not doing it! Just going to make sure to get pictures and all that good stuff.

I'm going to decide on a team after I sim the first season.

I'm interested to see how Washington looks in the near future. And how the hell do the Celtics finish that badly in the regular season and then get bounced in the first round?!?

Raptors Down Minnesota 108-99 in Season Opener

Toronto was hot early and jumped out to a 30-18 lead after one quarter. Minnesota rallied and tied the game up entering the 4th quarter but Demar DeRozan could not be stopped. The sophomore was the player of the game with 24 points on 10/15 shooting. He added 6 rebounds and 4 assists.

                          TEAM: 37/88 FG, 8/19 3PT, 17-19 FT, 39 REB, 25 AST, 5 STL, 6 BLK, 7 TO

                          PG Jonny Flynn - 35 min, 14 pts, 8 ast, 3-12 fg, 2-4 3pt, 6-6 ft
                          SG Joe Johnson - 31 min, 20 pts, 3 reb, 3 blk, 9-21 fg, 2-6 3pt
                          SF John Henson - 31 min, 6 pts, 6 reb, 2 blk, 2-10 fg
                          PF Kevin Love - 31 min, 10 pts, 10 reb, 5 ast, 4-11 fg
                          C Al Jefferson - 33 min, 14 pts, 8 reb, 5-7 fg
                          SG Wayne Ellington - 18 min, 16 pts, 6-9 fg, 2-4 3pt

                          Coaching Thoughts...
Defensively we have to play better. Toronto shot 55% for the game and had too many open looks. Offensively we need to get the ball into the post more to Al Jefferson. 7 field goal attempts for him is not good enough.

                          Next Game:
                          Minnesota (0-1, 80 overall) @ New Jersey (0-0, 92 overall)

New Jersey is going to look to impress the home crowd as they unveil their new lineup. The addition of LeBron James through free agency and Caron Butler/Antawn Jamison through a trade has made New Jersey the favorite in the Eastern Conference. This does not look too good for the T'Wolves.

*I tried to upload a screenshot but it did not work! Will try for this game as well*

Timberwolves Shock New Jersey and Spoile LeBron's Debut as a Net, 100-91

Well the T'Wolves were lights out from deep and played solid defense. LeBron James got his (24 pts/8 reb/5 ast) but the Nets committed too many fouls and received a poor performance from Antawn Jamison (33 minutes, 2 pts, 8 reb, 1-7 shooting)

                            Next Game:
                            Minnesota (1-1) @ Philadelphia (1-0)
                            - Philly has Gilbert Arenas, Andre Iguodala, Thadeus Young, and Elton Brand. This is going to be a tough matchup. Look for the Wolves to get the ball to Al Jefferson early and often. Another big game for him should equal another victory.

Talk about cleaning house. My Wiz could be doing a repeat of the Pistons in '04, giving them all the pieces to win a title.

Minus the big gun in LBJ.

0-8 with my man Wayne Stew?

You need to give him Matt Carrolls signature jumper.
