I love that trade, very realistic and I could see it happening, if milwaukee somehow got the 1st pick...lmao.

Anyways, looking forward to see how much you can change the Nets next season!

Hawks wouldn't give up both Williams and a 1st round pick. Too much to give up for the Hawks. Sounds good anyway, I'll be following.

          2010 NBA Season Preview
          Power Rankings

Amar'e and Durant will be a force to reckon with

          .

          RANKTEAMNOTES

          .

1Oklahoma City ThunderThe pick up of Amar'e Stoudemire makes them early favorites for the NBA Champs. Durant and Co. will be fun to watch this season

          .

2Denver NuggetsThey didn't do much in the off-season. They simply kept their core starting five and have a nice option at sixth man with Ty Lawson at the point.

          .

3Atlanta HawksTrading away SF Marvin Williams to clear cap room to give SG Joe Johnson was key this off-season. The Hawks may have the best bench in the League.

          .

4Portland Trail BlazersThey picked up the biggest free agent this year in Carlos Boozer which allows Greg Oden to come off the bench as he recovers from rehab.

          .

5Los Angeles LakersLetting fan favorite PG Derek Fisher go in free agency to the Jazz was risky, but necessary. Kyle Lowry was signed to start.

          .

6Orlando MagicPicking up PG Scottie Reynolds with the seventh overall pick was the most surprising pick of the draft. We'll see how fairs in relation to his spot taken.

          .

7Dallas MavericksThey have a very solid, but old Starting Five with Jason Kidd, Jason Terry, Caron Butler, Shawn Marion, and Dirk Nowitzki.

          .

8Chicago BullsGood off-season. They just missed out on signing SG Dwyane Wade, so they opted for signing SG Manu Ginobili and PF Jianlian Yi.

          .

9Houston RocketsC Yao Ming is back from an injured season and has SG Kevin martin on the perimeter. Solid prospects in SF Chase Budinger and PF Jordan Hill.

          .

10Memphis GrizzliesThey lost SG Rudy Gay to the Knicks, but are still stable with PF Zach Randolph as their leader. C Hasheem Thabeet is coming to his own on offense.

          .

11Cleveland CavaliersThey lost Big Shaq to the Spurs, but have J.J. Hickson starting at center now. He'll be splitting time with Anderson Varejao.

          .

12Boston CelticsThe Celtics let Ray-Ray sign with the Nets, opting to go younger with Rashad McCants. They also signed Chris Duhon to be their Sixth Man.

          .

13New Jersey NetsBiggest revamped roster for this season. Solid mix of young prospects with proven veterans. It's all PG Brandon Jennings' team now.

          .

14Minnesota TimberwolvesSigned SF Travis Outlaw and SG Tracy McGrady to mount a career comeback. And they still have C Al Jefferson to boot.

          .

15Miami HeatWade will stay in South Beach. So will C Jermaine O'neal. He's got John Salmons as his wingman, with an up and coming PF Michael Beasley.

          .

16Milwaukee BucksTraded for hometown boy, SG Devin Harris who will be starting in the backcourt with #1 Overall Pick John Wall.

          .

17Los Angeles ClippersDrafted SF Wesley Johnson to play alongside SG Eric Gordon. We'll see the first action of PF Black Griffin's career.

          .

18Philadelphia 76ersSG Allen Iverson will still be in the City of Brotherly Love. But exactly how much love is still being showed to him by the fans?

          .

19New Orleans HornetsDrafting PF Derrick Favors was their biggest pick up. Their contemplating starting Darren Collison alongside Chris Paul with a weak string of shooting guards.

          .

20San Antonio SpursThere's a Shaqtus in San Antonio. Unfortunately, they've lost SG Manu Ginobili and have a roster of old vets with PG Tony Parker out 2-4 months

          .

21Golden State WarriorsThey have a very entertaining offense, but that's about it. No defense to speak of, and losing SG Anthony Morrow may prove to be costly.

          .

22Detroit PistonsGone are the days of the Pistons Dynasty. Detroit is in a rebuilding stage now. They're looking to move SG Richard Hamilton and SF Tayshaun Prince.

          .

23Toronto RaptorsThey re-signed PF Chris Bosh. They drafted C Hassan Whiteside. But nothing screams contenders just yet.

          .

24New York KnicksBiggest flop of the off-season. No LeBron. No Wade. No Bosh. Not even David Lee. Managed to pick up SG Rudy Gay though. It's inevitably his team now.

          .

25Sacramento KingsReached in selecting SG Willie Warren with the 9th overall pick. PG Tyreke Evans is the reigning Rookie of the Year though.

          .

26Indiana PacersFans of the Pacers may be sticking to the Indy 500 this year. Their biggest pick up was SF Stanley Robinson at a very high spot in the 17th overall pick.

          .

27Phoenix SunsThey lost Amar'e with no compensation and picked up C Ben Wallace to replace him. PG Steve Nash is showing signs of age.

          .

28Utah JazzThey lost PF Carlos Boozer and have an undrafted free agent starting at shooting guard in Karl Fuller. May be looking into picking up a player in a trade.

          .

29Charlotte BobcatsThe Bobcats have been Cellar Dwellers for a while now and the NBA wants a team in Seattle again. MJ has a lot of work ahead.

          .

30Washington WizardsAgent Zero is gone, so they picked up C Al Harrington as their go-to guy. Hopefully nobody pulls guns on each other this year.

Just got caught up. Not a huge NBA guy but this looks good and love all the trade/draft details.

Good luck with the season. Looks like Ray-Ray is slowing down. Probably a good thing you only gave him 1 year.

                        (AP)
The first week of the NBA is over and fans across The Jersey Shore are excited to talk about basketball again. After three straight wins against the Pistons, Hawks, and a squeaker against the Bulls.

The Nets are quickly becoming NBA favorites this season, with the starting lineup of Brandon Jennings, Ray Allen, Marvin Williams, David Lee, and Brook Lopez who are working well together in an up-tempo offense. Lee and Lopez are holding it down on the defensive end.

They'll need that same help against their four opponents this week: the Grizzles, Raptors, Jazz, and Suns. All four teams went at or above .500 this week.

                        Top Five Power Rankings
                        1. Denver Nuggets: They went 2-1 this week, with Carmelo leading the NBA in scoring early in the season.
                        2. Portland Trail Blazers: After going 2-2 in their opening week, they have an easier upcoming week with just two games.
                        3. Orlando Magic: Stayed undefeated at 2-0 with an emerging starting five that feeds of team chemistry.
                        4. Miami Heat: Dwyane Wade is here to stay and Miami Basketball is back.
                        5. New Jersey Nets: The new look Nets went 3-0 opening week. Tough four game stretch this week.

Big night for Lopez and a Big win. Jennings continues to play very well. Looks like trade has been very good so far.

How is Wall and Harris doing for the Bucks??

Through three games, Wall is averaging 17.7 ppg and 8.3 apg and Harris is averaging 17.7 ppg, 5.4 apg, and 2.0 spg. Still too early to tell though.
