UTEP Head Coach Tony Barbee has been scrutinized heavily during the past 4 years, much of it justified. Barbee enters his 5th season with a record of 47-67 with many fans and alumni calling for him to be fired. The 2010-2011 season looks to be his shot at redemption though, as the Miners return all 11 players that saw action last year.
Leading the way is SF Manuel Cass, the 6'7 senior was named First Team All-Conference USA last season after averaging 13.3 points per game and 5.6 rebounds per game. Barbee expects last year's leading scorer, SG Randy Culpepper to continue to put up decent numers. The senior averaged 15.9 points per game last year.
The Miners are coming off a 12-14 season, many think Barbee's job was saved after the team went 8-8 in conference play and showed significant improvement throughout the year. Expect the Miners to run and gun this year with a 12 man rotation, with little drop off from top to bottom.

I've simmed to the 2010-2011 season and will be being playing games at this point. I will be using AuburnAlumni's sliders with Koshii's playbooks for the CPU.
