Re: Fab 5/Board Members the NBA Years
Congrats to Rizzo on being selected #1, disappointed I didn't get selected by the hometown team but after the Nova situation maybe that's a good thing. Plus, I got a chance to contribute to Dallas finally winning a championship.Comment

I havn't had time to look at their roster, I am guessing that Marvell either might log some minutes at PFalong side Granger or who knows maybe someone will make a trade for Marvell.Comment

Re: Fab 5/Board Members the NBA Years
Wow, can't believe I went #1 overall! I couldn't even take home conference player of the year in college, but I can easily get over that knowing that Las Vegas has made me the top pick in the draft. With me and Wes dropping 3's on the wings while being fed by reigning Rookie of the Year John Wall, who will be able to guard all five of us? I'm hoping either me or TJ can grab Rookie of the Year honors this year to give the Vipers back-to-back RoY awards.
John Wall, Adam Rizzo, Wesley Johnson, TJ Youngblook, Al Jefferson. Sounds like multiple titles in the near future for Las Vegas!Comment

Lebron "I just didn't feel like it was the right time to leave"
Kobe "Leaving L.A. was never a option"

BREAKING NEWS
Good Evening and Welcome to another edition of "NBA Insider" I am Chad Ford. We start out the night with some huge deals going down today around the league. It's been 2 years since we broke the news of the Washington Wizards Franchise closing up shop and moving to Seattle to be renamed the Seattle Savage, well annoucing later that day that Seattle worked out a trade that sent former All-Star PG Gilbert Arenas to the Atlanta Haws for All-Star SG Joe Johnson. The Savage have once again made a huge trade adding another All-Star to the mix by adding Chris Bosh from the Toronto Raptors. Here is a the breakdown of the trade
Savage get Chris Bosh and SF Taylor Griffin.
Raptors get SF Josh Howard, PF Al Thorton, Seattle's 1st Round pick in 2012 and the Dallas Mav's 1st Round pick (aquired in a deal last year)
Seattle's GM "I know some people might question this move thinking that by getting Bosh this could back fire on us and be only a 1 year rental, which giving up 2 #1's and Howard and Thorton is a steep price. However we feel by moving Howard this will open up more playing time as Rookies Seth Johnson and Peter Blake will battle for the starting job with the other playing alot of minutes as our 6th man off the bench"
Seattle was not the only team that aquired a All-Star to their linup. The Las Vegas Vipers also coming off a playoff performance looked to upgrade their inside game as well dealing for Amare Stoudemire.
Suns get SG Wayne Ellington, SF Corey Brewer, PF Shelden Williams and the Nets 1st Round pick (aquired in a deal for Kevin Love)
Vipers get PF A. Stoudamire and SF Jared Dudley.
Vipers GM Bryan Young "After adding Adam Rizzo and TJ Youngblood in the draft we felt we had the kind of depth that made since for us to go out and aquire 1 of the Best PF in the NBA. Again some people might think this is crazy and that we had a similar player in Kevin Love last year, but we really believe that have Amare and Al Jefferson in the post and John Wall, Rizzo and Wesley Johnson on the wings that we can match up with anyone in the league. Add in Eddie House,Youngblood and Shaq off the bench, I still believe we have the talent to improve on last year's #'s Plus we still kept our 1st Round pick plus the Knicks 1st Round pick which is something we would have had to give up to get Bosh"
Rumors are that the Vipers made a similar offer to the Cav's for Lebron James even adding in the Knicks 1st Round pick, but Cleavland is holding strong to the thoughts of "The King" resigning..
After seeing their othe 2 fellow relocated Franchises make moves the San Diego Typhoons went the opposite direction trading away their lone All-Star in Michael Redd. In the last year of his contract, Redd had made it clear he was going to test the FA waters. So rather then get nothing, they made the move by trading him to the Pacers for Rookie SF Adrian Marvell.
Pacers get SG M. Redd and the Typhoon's 1st Round pick
Typhoon get Rookie SF Adrian Marvell and SF Mike Dunleavy.
San Diego's GM "We really like Marvell almost drafted him #2 instead of Wilt Chamberlain JR, so to be able to land now 3 of the Top-10 Rookies of this year class (PG M. James being the other). We believe we have a roster that can grow together and dominate for years to come. PG B. Jennings will continue to run the show, with 2010 Rookie Evan Turner moving from SF to SG and Marvell taking over at SF, with 2010 Rookie Cole Aldrich at PF and Andrew Bogut starting at Center, with James, Chamberlain and Salmons coming off the bench."
In a smaller trade, the Typhoon dealt backup Center D. Gudzuric to the Thunder for PF/C Nick Collison. (Both players are in the last year of their deals)
My own comments "I really like the deals. I will be sad if both Bosh and Stoudamire don't resign. I gave up alot to get both players, but I think in the end it will help both teams win more games. San Diego continues to be a team that is building for the future but I am excited to play with them as well. I tried deal Bogut but didn't get any offers I liked, but I am going to continue to leave in on the trade block and work on aquiring a 1st Round pick back."Comment
