Slacker's don't fail because they're incompetent or incapable. Slacker's fail because they don't care.

    Campus News
    Interview With Coach Harris

Interviewer: Coach Harris, how are you.
Coach Harris: I'm fine thank you. How about yourself.
I: I'm fine thank you. As we all know you're here to talk about the Cajuns basketball team and their upcoming season.
    CH: M HM
I: With the early success you've had as a coach in your first two years at Stetson and your 1st year here how far do you think the team will go this year.
CH: Umm, I really believe we can make the [NCAA] Tournament this year. We've retained most of our core players from last year and added some new pieces that I'm sure can contribute just as much as our departed players.
I: Which returning guys do you think will have the greatest impact on the team. I think Pat Gordon will have the most impact this year. The kid is a stud. He has the talent to be a starter on any team in the nation. And then I think Ellis Westphal will be a key contributor.
I: You alluded to new additions that would be ready to contribute, but could you talk to us about the new addition that won't be able to help the team out on the game floor.
CH: You must be referring to our new transfer Luther Spong. Due to the NCAA's transfer rule he won't be able to help us out on the floor. But I believe he can give us tremendous assistance on the practice court by allowing us to play wit and against a top level talent every day.
I: Who do you think the teams key reserve will be.
CH: I'm not sure really, but I think it will be between Duane Halsch as the back up point and Castillo at the 4.
I: Final question how far do you think the team will go in this year tourney.
CH: I think we can make it to Round 2.
