Holloway impressed in his return

Lewisburg, PA - Chants moved on in the NIT tournament on Wednesday, beating Bucknell 82-69. Bucknell controlled the game throughout the first half but a surge from Holloway and the Chants in the 2nd half proved to be the difference. A lot of experts predicted for Bucknell to win this game easily, so the Chants winning has made a statement. Coastal will face off against South Florida in Round 2

Bulls dominate lowly Chants

Chants couldn't keep up with Poland and the Bulls

Conway, SC - It is a heartbreaking end, to an otherwise up and down season. Losing their final game on their home court, South Florida beating the Chants 94-63 on Monday. It was not a pretty game at any point for Coastal fans and it shows in the box score. The outlook for next year looks positive for the Chants though, returning all but 1 player and hopefully getting some fresh recruits.

Defense Dominates


Coastal's defense was top notch

Conway, SC - A new season is upon us. Fresh faces, old faces but the same old Chants remain. Dominating a team from a larger market is always a goal of Coach Ellis and he got his wish on Monday night. With 3 new starters, it was iffy how the team would come out of the gate. Coastal silenced all critics however winning by 18. Freshman C McGrain led the team with 20 points leading a little bit of a controversy over if it is still reigning Big South POTY Holloway's team.
