"The Big Game" Ohio St. vs Michigan


This was the biggest game of our lives the fab 5 vs the wanna be fab 5. We went neck to neck with Michigan, but turnovers killed us. We did keep the game tied at the half 42-42.

The second half was crazy, after missing both 3 point attempts, Ray hit all three in the second half. Fred and Jared had another great game off the bech as well. The went into overtime. Both teams did great, so we went into another overtime to decide the game.But the story was Gary Russell who had his first triple double game. We took the game in 2OT 136-130.

"Homesick"

After the game we celebrated hard as hell. That was the hardest we had ever fought a team. I just wanted to thank the team and keeping that fight in you to win us the game. Oh Fred can you come to my office, I have a surprise for you.

Fred you are doing great, you are averaging a double double. So do you want to be the starter? You will replace Kevin, so how about it. Thanks for the offer coach, but I can't accept it.

Why not you you earned it? I know coach but I think im homesick. So I have been doing alot of thinking, I wanted to know can I be transfered. Well im shocked to here this, I don't know what to say, but if thats what makes you happy. So where will I be sending your transfer scholarship to? Rutgers University please.

Coach just looked at Fred like it was the end of the world. He knew once Fred goes to Rutger, that he was getting the starting job right away. Rutger just came off a lost to Uconn and was heading home to face Georgetown. It looks like th New Fab 5 would run into trouble in the NCAA tourney.

Not sure if you plan on having him start this year at Rutger but that wouldn't be possible under NCAA regulations to start immediately the same year you transfer.

" Game 2 The Rematch"

It was close to being a month without Fred, then two weeks later Jared left. We have been winning but the percentage have been going down. As we were preparing for the starting tip, I glanced over to see that Jared was in a Wolverines shirt and shorts for Michigan.

Thanks to me we lost the tip, and Michigan went on a 13-4 run. We came back on a three by Lance, the only three in the first half. To give us an 23-20 lead at the half going 1-9 in the first half.

We had to come out strong in the second half. Ray hit a big three,to tie the game and send the game into OT. Then in overtime, he hit two threes to help us win the game 70-66.
