    Trade

    Knicks Receive
    Derek Caracter

    Lakers Receive
    Jeremy Lin

I have a soft spot for Jeremy Lin in my heart. I grew up near him in High School and got to enjoy watching him play. He's also been an underdog despite the conditions being played in. While I agree in the NBA he is definitely an underdog. Through High School and College he was a fantastic player. I have no doubt with some time and patience he may be a fairly good player in the league. Judging from the Knicks he doesn't appear to be in line to receive much playing time with the abundance of PG that the Knicks have (In the game). While he doesn't immediately help the Lakers he has the ability to penetrate and play fairly good defense. Besides with the current roster what do the Lakers have to lose relying on Derek Fisher and Steve Blake.

Devin Ebanks and Darius Morris have both been sent down to the D-League in order to get playing time that they may or may not have gotten in the NBA. We want them to progress forward and sitting on the bench for 48 minutes wasn't going to help them much.>>

        Game Notes
Kobe Bryant will look to take advantage of his size over Monta Ellis. However, Lakers should be leery as this team can put points up in a hurry and after allowing 117 points to the Thunder it could be another tough fast paced game for an old team. Whom was unable to slow the pace down against a team that appeared to be supremely talent in the Oklahoma City Thunder.

            November 4th, 2011
            LA Lakers @ Phoenix Suns(LAL 95 - PHX 86 W)
After a home loss in the season opener the Lakers have won two straight road games and it looks like the early signs of no defense may have been fluke. Kobe Bryant asserted himself with his highest scoring outburst of this young season scoring 44 points in 35 minutes. Bryant added 6 rebounds, 5 assist and 3 steals to his stats. World Peace, Goudelock and Bynum score 11, 9, and 9 respectively.

            November 6th, 2011
            New Orleans Hornets @ LA Lakers (NO 95 - LAL 108 W)
The newly depleted Hornets were no match for the Lakers on their home court. The Lakers Jumped out to a 48-40 lead at half time and lead by 17 after three quarters. Five Lakers scored in double figures which included Gasol, Bryant, World Peace, Bynum and Barnes. Bynum had his third double-double of the season in four games. Scoring 14 points and pulling down 11 rebounds.

            November 7th, 2011
            LA Lakers @ Sacramento Kings (LAL 95 - SAC 90 W)
The Lakers are now 3-0 on the road and 4-1 overall. Bynum continues to show why Lakers management has continued to show faith him in. For a second night in a row Bynum comes away with a double-double scoring 30 points and pulling down 11 rebounds. Bryant added 23 points of his own and World Peace was the only other Lakers player in double figures with 13.
Demarcus Cousins was not completely outdone by Bynum scoring 19 and pulling down 16 boards. He did however struggle from the field shooting 6-16. Evans, Garcia, and Hickson scored 15, 14 and 13 respectively

He is. It is nice to see him killing it in the simmed games as well.

                    Denver Nuggets @ LA Lakers (DEN 96 - LAL 107 W)
The Lakers broke the game wide open in the second quarter outscoring the Nuggets by 14 points and opening up a 15 point lead. Kobe Bryant lead all scorers with 30 points. Gasol had a strong night showing up with another double scoring 14 points and grabbing 13 boards.

                    November 13, 2011
                    Detroit Pistons @ LA Lakers (DEF 90 - LAL 82 L)

The Lakers put themselves in a hole early in the game with the Pistons taking a 13 point lead after the first quarter. Despite strong Play from Bryant (21 Points) and Bynum (20 Points and 13 rebounds) the Lakers were unable to offer any sort of threat to the Pistons. Detroit had five players in double figures which included Villanueva, Knight, Stuckey, prince and Bynum ( 16, 15, 15, 14 and 10)

                    November 15, 2011

Washington Wizards @ LA Lakers (WAS 87 - LAL 100)
After a one day rest the Lakers bounced back in convincing fashion opening up a 11 point lead early in the first and never leaving doubt who was the better team today. Andrew Bynum continued his strong play with 20 points and 11 rebounds. Bryant continued his high scoring offense and poured in 27 points. Nick Young lead the wizards with 26 points followed by John Wall who point in 20. Wall however, took 29 shots and only converted 7 of them.
