      Re: Return of MoTown

I am using Bedwardsroy19's roster along with the draft classes and sliders for this roster. I made minor edits to the roster, only editing potential on a handful of players that I think have a chance to be something great. I also edited myself into the first draft class coming out as an 82 overall rookie.

I will be using 30 team control, no injuries, 12 minute quarters, 82 games, and I will be simulating the regular season. I will play all Play off games for the Pistons. I've played around in a few practice associations to get a feel for how I want to build the team so I have an idea on that.

I will not make any trades in the first season until the trade deadline where I will look at team success and player performance of a handful of players rumored to be moving IRL. Past the first season, I will create my own trades that I feel make sense and can create some interesting/fun situations.

Don't expect an update tonight since it's Valentine's Day, the rest of my night is committed. I will try my best to update tomorrow night 2/15.

                Re: Return of MoTown

After a great first half of the season, the Pistons looked to be in contention for a low seed in the East. However following the trade for Al Jefferson, the wheels seemed to fall off and the Pistons finished up 33-49. This led many to criticize the trade for Jefferson, however the Pistons managements stands firmly behind their decision. It'll be onto the Off-Season for the Pistons, but first here's the playoffs:

                Western Conference:
                1. Dallas Mavericks
                8. Denver Nuggets

                4. Golden State Warriors
                5. San Antonio Spurs

                3. Oklahoma City Thunder
                6. Los Angeles Clippers

                2. Los Angeles Lakers
                7. Minnesota Timberwolves

                Eastern Conference:
                1. Miami Heat
                8. Indiana Pacers

                4. Boston Celtics
                5. Orlando Magic

                3. New York Knicks
                6. Charlotte Bobcats

                2. Chicago Bulls

Baron Davis signs a 1 year/$1.33 million with Orlando

After a long season, everyone is ready for basketball again. The Pistons have added a valuable rookie to their roster who they will hope will become a franchise star. They also had 2 2nd round selections who will hopefully become valuable role players. Dwight Howard shocked the league when he chose to sign with Indiana, but with no big market team having the cap room to sign him, and with Jameer Nelson leaving the Magic regardless of what Dwight chose to do, Dwight didn't believe he had any chance of making another play off run in Orlando. Dwight believed that of the teams who had the cap room to sign him, Indiana was the only option with a chance of making it deep into the play offs. Jeremy Lin chose Utah to try and get away from some of the media and because he believes they have some excellent young pieces who he hopes to help lead to a NBA title.
