Since they are a mid-major, I'm guessing that the 20+ wins plus a good showing in the CAA tournament should get them a ticket to the Big Dance. At worst, winning the CAA regular season title will give them a ticket to postseason NIT.

I'm still contemplating who to start in place of starting SF Jeremy Hence. I can either fill his starting spot with SF Kenny Brewer or go with a 3-guard set with freshman SG James Bryant.

We are going nowhere and it looks like we will be at either Lehigh, Lafayette or god forbid, Navy so I'm tending to go with the better shooter, who is probably Bryant, since I lost my #2 scorer.

Man, I just took the reigns at Army in my legacy. I don't know how you won 6 games with this squad, two games in and I can barely keep it close past the 10 minute mark in the first half, lol.

The recruiting is going as expected. I had the recruiting "assistants" narrow down the possible recruits based on my preferences: intelligence and skills. I only have three scholarships opening up so I am looking towards filling in the spots being vacated by the graduating seniors and also focusing on the players that are not rated D or F in any areas at all possible. I do have a couple of players that are in the 90% interested range so hopefully they will come.

As per military rules, I can't inform the information of the players being recruited, but I will introduce the incoming class at the beginning of each new season.

If you are doing it coach mode (just coaching) and using the players that came with the game, just be patient and let the players keep letting Jarell Brown shoot. He's the best on the squad. I'm seeing Sophomore forward Jeremy Hence (#14) gain more confidence and shooting the ball better as the season goes on. He's got a good long range shot but he's nowhere near the shooter that Brown is.

I can see that this team has a good shot to play .500 ball during the 2008-09 season but we'll have to just wait and see when the time comes if I can accomplish it.

After the game last night I received some good news as forward Jeremy Hence has been cleared to play Saturday's Senior Night game against the Bucknell Bison. He'll have his ankle taped but he will be ready to play.

I thought that they might too until the 3-point coffin nail by graduating senior Jarell Brown with under a minute to play. After that, I was extremely surprised that my worst free throw shooter, point guard Marcus Nelson, nailed two clutch free throws before the Bison started intentionally fouling. When they started doing that, I made the switch with Brown and Nelson so that my best free throw shooter was at point guard.
