Press Conference

How do you feel about your team so far?

I'm very proud of my team so far, I never thought that we would be heading into conference play with a winning record. I'm just hoping we can continue our momentum into conference play.

What do you think stands out about the Radford Highlanders?

Well we are a very young team that mainly consists of Freshman and Sophomores. Also, we are a very quick team and so far not too many teams have been able to keep up with us speed wise.

What are your expectations in the Big South?

Well we were picked to finish last in the Big South but I disagree. As long as we can pull off wins against Charleston Southern and VMI we should be able to finish at least in 6th place. Now, when it comes to the Big South tournament, I'm hoping we can at least get past the First Round. We've done good so far so hopefully we can surprise some people in conference play.

What is your recruiting situation?

Well right now we are going after four Three-Star players (PG, SG, PF, and C), so if we can manage to get all four players to commit to Radford that would be a huge plus for us going into next season.

I've actually been considering doing a Legacy for about a month so I went and did a separate Legacy so I'd actually be able to compete. Any win right now is a nice for me, I'm definitely gonna have to do a good job recruiting because this team has a lot of holes that need to be filled.
