      Bobcats made a surprising singing

It was 2007 when Oden was considered the next of the greatest big mans in the NBA.He was chosen with the first pick from the Portland Traiblazers but his career is followed by multiple injuries. On September 14, 2007, Oden had microfracture surgery on his ailing right knee. He missed the entire season.
On February 13, 2009, he injured his left knee in a game against the Golden State Warriors, by bumping knees with opponent Corey Magette, and missed three weeks due to a chipped knee cap.
On December 5, 2009, Oden injured his left knee in the first quarter of a game. He was taken off the court on a stretcher. Later, he underwent surgery for a fractured left patella and missed the rest of the season. That injury marked the second time Oden had missed major playing time due to injury.

"I know it is going to be tough, but I feel ready.I like the organization here.We have a good possibility of playing in the playoffs this year if we perform to our best..and i'll do my best." said Oden before he was asked if he feels injury safe.

"You can't have this feeling, injuries happen in seconds and most of the times it's not your fault, of course. It's team change,it's something new for me,I hope I left every bad emotion back in Oregon."

Greg Oden will wear number 92 and is a projected starter.

          --Charlotte,NC
The Charlotte Bobcats were opening the season with a home game against Indiana Pacers.Indiana, who lost in the 2nd round in the playoffs last year in a 6-game series with the champions from Miami, won in their opening game but there was no clue of the way they played.
The young and improved Bobcats team was moving the ball really fast scoring 27 points on fastbreaks. They started the first quarter leading the game by 10,before they were slowed down in the 2nd to go in the locker room with 2-points advance.
Michael Kidd-Gilchrist was all over the place - scoring, running, rebounds etc. The former Kentucky Wildcat made a big impact with his 21/4/5 game, taking the lead for a rookie of the year competition.
Kemba Walker is looking also improved after the summer,he is a bit stronger for sure.He gained some muscles. He also did well shooting from the arc, scoring two 3pointers today.
Greg Oden is back!! A good news for the Cats,Oden finished with a double-double - 13pts and 13rebs.

"I'm feeling good here,I really hope everything bad is behind me.We had a nice game and we won.Our squad is young but inexperienced,we must know this..we are going against the strong Mavericks next time in Dallas. We'll take it game by game." said Oden after the game.

              --Dallas,TX
Dirk Nowitzki and the Mavericks were on a 2-game losing streak. They lost both of their away games in Los Angeles against the Lakers and in Salt Lake against the Jazz.

For the first time Mark Cuban's team was playing at home this season and it was against the young and ambitious squad of Charlotte Bobcats.Mike Dunlap's boys won in their opener against the Pacers, displaying very beautiful and fast game.Michael Kidd-Gilchrist seems like the perfect addition to this team.He finished with 21 in the first game and now he scored even more - 23.

Charlotte were looking pretty good taking a early 11-point lead after the first 6 minutes but Dallas catch them quickly. After the first 24 minutes,Dallas had the lead and it was all going to be decided in the 2nd half.

OJ Mayo and Darren Collison took the game to their shoulders and went crazy in the beginning of the 4th scoring 12 unanswered points. Then it came to the time of Ben Gordon who scored 14 of his 27 in the last quarter.
The former Chicago Bulls player scored 5 three-pointers in the game.
With 9.1 seconds left on the clock and a point lead for Dallas, the Bobcats made a nice play and Gordon got it from middle range for a 96 to 95 lead.
In the next play, Michael Kidd-Gilchrist's left Shawn Marion wide open in the post and Collison couldn't miss him with the bounce pass.Marion scored and Dallas took the 97 to 96 lead.
Ben Gordon missed at the buzzer and Charlotte lost the game.

"It's all on me..it was an important position and I was sleeping. Sorry to the fans and to all of my teammates,I will bounce back for sure..it was stupid mistake but it costs us the game so.." - Michael Kidd-Gilchrist

                    --CHARLOTTE,NC

Charlotte Bobcats lost for the 2nd straight time from a western conference team. The international squad of the Suns including Gortat,Dragic and Scola(everyone is a starter) was too much for the Cats.
Too much second chance points was the main problem for Charlotte.Luis Scola and Marcin Gortat were winning everything under the basket.Injured Greg Oden played only 23 minutes and grabbed 6 rebounds.
Phoenix outrebounded Charlotte 44 to 30.
Michael Kidd-Gilchrist was the only player in the first half trying to keep the Cats alive. He scored 18 of his 23 in the first 24 minutes.
Kemba Walker than in the 4th scored 13 of his 15 and the Bobcats won the last quarter 34 to 23 but that was not enough.
At one point, like 23 seconds before the end the Suns had a delicate 4 point lead but Shannon Brown added 3points to his stats and Scola also scored 2FTs.

                    RUMOR!

"We were bad on the defensive end, that is not what I want to see..we also have to improve on boxing out.We allowed to many second chances and this eaten out our heads..

..Tyrus[Thomas] is placed on the trading block, yes,we are looking to trade him away.He did a lot for this franchise but now its time to part ways,we are looking for the right offer so when it come,we will inform the world.
" -- Coach Dunlap asked about Tyrus Thomas' playing time.

                          --New Orleans,LA

It was Kidd-Gilchrist versus Davis, the big question - who is winning the ROY award? Anyway both of them couldn't shine in this battle because it was Kemba's day.
The sophomore kept his team in the game despite being outrebounded again and despite the too many turnovers.Kemba was there when the Hornets were just before taking a bigger lead for example like 6-7 points.Playing awesome on the pick'n'roll situations with Bismack Biyombo,Walker was able to drop 18 points on Greivis Vasquez.
Vasquez who is averaging 18ppg and 9apg in the first 4 games was totally outplayed today. He was 4-from-15 from the field,7 turnovers included.

Greg Oden doesn't seem to feel OK with the injury and he was benched throughout the most of the game.Byron Mullens had to play some more time today and he did pretty well.

Ben Gordon scored a clutch jumper with 18 seconds left and the Cats took a 1 point lead.Although,Al-Farouq Aminu scored immediately on the other end to give the Hornets a chance to win.
With 7 seconds left,Bismack Biyombo on the inbound pass gave it to Ben Gordon who was 1-on-1 with Eric Gordon. Two fast crossovers and pass to Kemba Walker on the wing who was left open.
Kemba sealed the win with 0.3 seconds left.
