Haha yep, those two are dominant rim protectors... In Noel's first two Seasons he's averaging about 15 points, 10 boards and 2 blocks per game... Davis is about the same, but he scores around 18-20 per game... 'Nola' has a solid squad for sure.

The Jazz with Favors and Jefferson are studs too... Probably to two best frontcourts in my Association

                  - Its funny how everything seems to come full circle in the world of Sports... 2010, LeBron leaves Cleveland and leads Miami to a Championship... 4 years later, LeBron leaves Miami and heads back home to Cleveland... Of course the Cavaliers and the Heat square off in the 1st round to complete the circle... I think the Cavaliers are heavy favorites in this one, as, the only member of the "Big 3" remaining in Miami is Dwayne Wade (Bosh signed with Detroit in FA)... I look for a quick 4 game sweep from the much more talented Cavaliers...

                  - MVP Candidate PG Brandon Jennings took that next step this Season and he has become a household name... He is on the verge of becoming a legit Super Star in this league and a win in the 1st round of the playoffs would go along way in doing so... The addition of Danny Granger and the emergence of Jennings makes this team very dangerous... The Wizards, who knocked out Kyrie Irving and the Cavaliers in the 1st round last year, appear to be back and better then ever as John Wall and Bradley Beal form one of the most athletic Back-courts in the NBA... With two shot blocking bruisers in the pait, Emeka Okafor and Nene, this team is built to win in the playoffs... This should be a great series.

                  Matchup Preview

                  - If you're looking for Star Power and Big Market NBA Basketball, this series is for you... Chicago, Brooklyn, Derrick Rose vs Deron Williams and Joe Johnson, this series in a dream matchup for the NBA, the only downside is that its happening in the 1st round... The Nets had a sub-par regular season, only 41 and 41, the Bulls, after trading for SG Jordan Crawford were able to score more and be more dynamic on Offense and finished with a 46 and 36 record... I am predicting a long, grueling series from these two physical teams, on paper, the Nets look like the better team, but the Bulls Defense is no joke and former league MVP Derrick Rose will be the best player on the floor...

                  - The Toronto Raptors came out of nowhere in the last 2 weeks of the season to sneak into the playoff... Their reward, arguably the most complete team in the NBA in the 1st round, the 76ers... Toronto is young, and I think they will be competitive with Kyle Lowry, Demar Derozan and former #1 overall pick Andrea Bargnani, but I don't think they have enough to take down the powerful Sixers...

                      - The "Last Ride" so to speak for the 4 time NBA Champion San Antonio Spurs... Tony Parker and Tim Duncan both have contracts that are expiring after this Season, neither player has hinted at the thought of retiring once the Season is over, however, with young players waiting in the wings, its not yet known if the Spurs are going to bring them both back, in lesser roles or let them walk in Free Agency if they don't retire... Regardless of what happens this Off-Season, I think the Spurs are over-matched in this series... The Thunder are the Defending NBA Champions and they look stronger than ever... Kevin Durant can drop 40 on any given night, and Russell Westbrook has that same scoring ability... I look for a quick 4 or 5 game series here with the Thunder moving on...

                      - The Jazz were won of the surprise teams this year, but, if you've been following along you probably saw this coming from them... They've improved their record every year over the past two Seasons, and this year they put it all together, wining 46 games... Al Jefferson and Derrick Favors have become a great one-two low post punch that most teams can't match up with... I say most teams, because, they are playing against one of the teams that can do just that, the LA Lakers with Dwight Howard and Kris Humphries can match the physical'ness (word?) of the Jazz front line... With the front lines being just a slight edge in the Jazz' favor, the games will come down to perimeter play and that is where the Lakers will shine... With Kobe Bryant and Roger Fox, this team is scary athletic and the Jazz are going to have their hands full...

                      - James Harden, Jeremy Lin and the Houston Rockets are one of the highest scoring teams in the league, but, they are going to have to play their best series if they are going to knock off the favored Hornets... The Hornets have two of the premier rim protectors in the game in Nerlens Noel and Anthony Davis and they rank in the Top 5 for Defensive ... Together these two big men average just over 4 blocks per game... Harden and Lin are going to have to do some big time scoring from the perimeter if they are going to have a chance in this series...

                      - This series has an old ABA feel to it, with two teams that like to push the tempo and get up and down the floor... Both Denver and Golden State rank in the Top 10 in points scored per game, both averaging over 100 points per game, while Denver plays slightly better defense than Golden State, I expect this series to be a great one... Denver's Ty Lawson led the league in assists per game and he is the catalyst for this high powered up and down offense... Golden State is led by arguably the purest shooter in the game today, PG Stephen Curry who can flat out score the basketball from anywhere on the floor... Buckle up folks, this one is going to be good...

Just spent 2 hours reading through and I am real enjoying it. Cant wait to see more even though I hate LeBron, but whatever.

side note" its Dwyane Wade, not Dwayne Wade. He spells it strange
