Actually, the NBA is weird in that only in the NBA Finals does the series location order change. In the quarters, semis, and conf. finals, game location goes 2-2-1-1-1. but in the finals it changes to 2-3-2. So it isn't a glitch. but keep up the good work. love reading this. have it bookmarked and check it every day.

Yeah, thats not the glitch I'm talking about. I'm saying since I had the better regular season record (60-22) vs (47-35) I should have the home court in the finals, so I should have games, 1,2 6,7 at home... Its done it all 3 seasons for me, the team with the worst record of the 2 in the finals always gets the home court advantage... Maybe I should have lost more during the regular season on purpose haha.

Not a huge deal, just sucks if the series goes 7 games and I'm not at home

Thanks for all the comments and thoughts so far, I'll be finishing up the NBA Finals this weekend and get my Off-Season posts ready for early next week...

ah my bad man. I think I have noticed this as well in my association. Hope they get that fixed for next year. I would also like to see at least something slightly more impactful with home court advantage, even if it is just for the playoffs.

GAME 3


Cavs out-work Lakers in Game 3, now 1 game away from title

**GAME 3** Cavs win 111-100 (3-0)
- LeBron James - 32 points - 8 reb - 10 ast - 2 stl
- Kyrie Irving - 30 points - 2 reb - 3 ast
- Anderson Varejao - 0 points - 16 reb
- Kobe Bryant - 22 points - 12 reb - 6 ast
- Roger Fox - 20 points - 9 reb - 7 ast
- Dwight Howard - 12 points - 7 reb

- Down 2 games to none after dropping both of their home games in LA, the Lakers were in desperate need of a big game from their big three Bryant, Fox, Howard... Well, they got a good game from both Bryant and Fox, but Dwight was once again missing in action... Kobe scored 22 points, and grabbed 12 rebounds, Fox scored 20, grabbed 9 boards and dished out 7 assists, and Dwight, only managed 12 points and 7 rebounds... For the series, Dwight is only averaging 12.6 points and 7 rebounds per game... If this was Dwight's first experience in the NBA Finals, we could possibly write this off as a learning experience, but, this is Dwights 3rd trip to the NBA Finals, he was there once with Orlando and then again in 2012/13 when he led the Lakers to the title vs the Chicago Bulls, oh, and Dwight was Finals MVP in that series... Nobody knows whats wrong with Dwight... Maybe nothing is wrong with him, maybe the Cavs cast of Defensive Centers is just that good?

In Game 3, the Lakers got a much better all around effort, but in the end LeBron James, Kyrie Irving and Anderson Varejao (yes, i said Andy Varegjao) were just too much for LA to handle... James put in 32 points, 8 reb and 10 dimes; Kyrie put in 30 more and Andy controlled the glass all night and grabbed 16 rebounds...

The Cavaliers, now with a 3-0 series lead will have a chance to close out the series in Game 4 tomorrow night...

Cleveland Ohio has been easily the most tortured sports city in America... On this night however, all of that was a distant memory as their Cavaliers were on the verge of an NBA Championship...

The Q was rocking yet again in this game and the Cavaliers did not dissapoint... They wanted to end this thing tonight, and not give the Lakers any chance to make history and come back from down 3-0... LeBron, Kyrie and the rest of the Cavaliers did just that... They played inspired basketball for 48 minutes and in the end, they brought Cleveland its first Championship since 1964 (browns)...

When LeBron decided to come back home last summer, this is exactly what he and the fans and the Cavaliers front office had dreamed about... LeBron, since his 'Decision' in 2010 has admitted that he regrets that decision, to leave Cleveland, to leave home but ultimately, it made him stronger as a person... His return wasn't something he had to do, it was something he wanted to do, to make things right with his hometown fans...
