Top 10 Picks(in order of the draft)

Memphis

David Teague and Dwight Patterson. Two Small Forwards from which one will definitely help the Grizzlies contributing to their defensive mind-set especially because the Grizzlies brought another great rebounder in and with Teague's work ethic he'll surely improve himself, . Though I'm not sure how high his ceiling really is and if he's really a #1 overall pick but I'm quite sure that Dwight won't be worth his money.

Grade: B+

Orlando

Zachary Forte is a nice addition to the Magic's roster. He could easily become a valuable scoring option off the bench or besides Afllalo and Caballero replacing Harkless. Give this guys another year or two and the Orlando Magic will have serious claims to call themselves contenders.

Indianapolis

I'm not sure what to think about the Pacer's front office. On the on hand Cash seems to be an obvious choice with an aging George Hill you have the next-gen point guard already in your line-up but it's questionable if Cash can life up to the hype. Besides they passed on a Magnus Kersey as inheritor of Hill. On the other hand I consider it a great move to draft Galloway. This guy could be a potential steal if he gets directed by Hibbert and fired up by the competition with Hansbrough.

Grade: C

Phoenix

The Suns front office should earn an award for this outcome. You have a hole in your roster at the Power Forward spot so consequently you draft a Power Forward. But Phoenix elevated to another level in drafting the probably top prospect in this draft. Randy Winter will learn from Gortat and build a possible small big 3 with Ellis and Beasley.

Grade: A+

Atlanta

With Lamar Higgins the Hawks added a nice young defense-first shooting guard that can spread the floor. The roster gets deeper down the stretch and the second string benefits from a quick defender.
While their second round choice Keefe can develop into a legit role player behind Horford.
A solid draft.

Grade: B+

Dallas

And yet another German stretch-4 in Dallas right after Dirk's retirement. Feels like a déjà vu though I wouldn't call Leif Wolfe “Bombenschütze” but “Scharfschütze” since he really lights it up from outside so he'd really mix well with Igoudala if he stays healthy which was a concern even in the BBL in which the play is considerably less physical. He may be a 60/40 choice.

Besides Wolfe the Mavs drafted another big man called Fowler who has the potential to be a replacement for Dieng or to be his legitimate pack-up either way this makes sense.

Grade: B

Sacramento

There are always critics of Evans and somehow they are right. He never connected to his rookie season. Well so what do you do if Evans has a cold night? You go to your new promising clutch scorer Michael Davenport.
Makes sense to support a struggling Evans though I don't understand the Kings second round choice. Bowen seems to me like he won't last long in this league.

Grade: B-

Portland

With Aldridge wanting to test free agency and only left with a still somewhat rough Meyers Leonard you go for the possibly best Center in the Draft Simon Warrick. He's a beast in the paint bullying his way into the key and best of all he can do that all game long opening the court for Lilliard and Batum.
A solid and very good choice.

Grade: A+

Detroit

The Pistons are thinking long term and draft Taylor Gadson who could develop into a potential all-star if handled right. McAdoo as a mentor pared with sufficient minutes of course. Contrary to that they draft Jonston in the second round who has no future in the NBA if it were up to me to decide that.

Grade: B-

Boston

With Doc it's all about defense and Austin Carlson is all about defense. If the Celtics can now develop Austin from a defense-only player into a defense-first paired with scoring or point guard ability Boston might see a disturbing back court with Rondo, Bradley and Carlson.
But for now he's settled for the bench as a defensive roleplayer. Thinking long term in Boston as well.

Grade: A+

“This Greek called Pandazis will be a solid starter and he'll be reviewed as most surprising steal.”

“How the heck could the Pacers pass on Magnus Kersey. He showed that he can lead a team at Holy Cross. He will easily develop into a top 5 point guard in the league.”
