Connor Kim and Arizona goes up against Texas.

Texas falls to Arizona 76-67 on their own home court

            Adidas Players
            Adrian Hines
Hines, another one of the underrated players at the camp is starting for the Texas Longhorns this season. He has some responsibility to take over after Texas struggling season before his arrival.
Tonight Hines went up against Arizona (Team of former B Team's guard Connor Kim) as they lost on their own court Hines still put up some decent stats and was fluent using his athleticism to get to the free-throw line and playing the passing lanes great finishing with 4 steals.
            SF, Adrian Hines - 11 Points, 5 Rebounds, 1 Steal, 4 Steals, 4-11 Shooting

D'Jasper Pobincruz III, the late bloomer who almost didn't make the cut from the Adidas Camp originally signed with UCLA but later decided that wasn't the way to go as he switched over to join his off-court friend Adrian Hines. However he might also have to wait to show his talent at Texas because the depth of this team. He's currently playing off the bench for the Longhorns but you can clearly see that his epic defense isn't going anywhere. His basketball I.Q. on the offensive end has improved a little and he really has some potential if Texas gives him the chance.

            PF, D'Jasper Pobincruz III - 0 Points, 5 Rebounds, 0 Assists, 2 Steals, 2 Blocks, 0-2 Shooting, 12 Minutes

Connor Kim, the dark horse of everything. He never gets the attentions needed and as we choose him to come to our camp after reviewing his full high school games it's really confusing why they don't. Arizona apparently doesn't feel the same way though they he has 2 other guards above him in depth charts. It's kind of a shame if you want my honest opinion.
To get to the game Kim as usual used his minutes wisely as he showcased his great court awareness dropping 3 assists and only omitting 1 turnover.
            PG, Connor Kim - 0 Points, 1 Rebound, 3 Assists, 1 Turnover

Hines was putting in work. Be interesting to see if he can stay consistent throughout the year. If so Arizona will be dangerous if he can.

Got the win and that's all that matters! This freshman year is going to be a learning experience for Kim and a chance to learn from the great point guards ahead of him and a great coach. But once he cracks that starting lineup, watch out!

Joey Perm and Indiana go up against Alex Batch and Michigan

Indiana defeats Michigan 97-61 at home

Our number one ranked player coming out of our camp from Indiana was named in the starting line-up right before the season started moving Zeller at PF. Definitely a very solid player who has worked at his game for a very long period of his life and is on the verge of becoming one of the very rare "true centers". According to Indiana Basketball player measurements Perm grew 1 inch and added on 5 pounds to his frame now putting him at a insane 7"2, 270 pound center.

Today Perm went up against his former A Team teammate Alex Batch as it was safe to say Perm locked Batch up and blew Michigan out. As we attended this game Perm showed us his amazing I.Q. and ability to score the ball in the post.

                      C, Joey Perm - 16 Points, 7 Rebounds, 2 Assists, 4 Blocks, 0 Turnovers

Alex Batch, the quiet center of Adidas Camp was selected easily onto our follow throughs. He has a very all-around game as he was originally a guard for his high school team and hasn't lost the skills of one as well. He can easily be compared to the life of Anthony Davis but as the early season stats Batch will continue to use his good three point shooting unlike Davis's freshman campaign. Batch as it sounds though is NOT just a typically Euro Style bigman the outside shot is just one of his options. He shows skills in crashing the boards, running the floor, timing, and more.

Michigan took on Indiana today and Alex Batch had a stellar game if you want to go by his 12 minute performance going up against star freshman Joey Perm.
Batch reached 4 fouls pretty quick in this game as he has got into some foul trouble in the second half and only play'd a total of 12 minutes the full game however Alex Batch hasn't been getting top minutes throughout the season so far.
                      C, Alex Batch - 9 Points, 8 Rebounds, 1 Assists, 1 Block

Key Note:Alex Batch is shooting 47.7% from the field and 50% from three point shooting out of 62 attempts.

Batch playing like his high school scouting report indicated it seems. Very efficient, but seems too hesitant to take the game over. This game it seems he was super efficient besides foul trouble. Interesting Mich moved him to center, but that's probably due to his size.

WoW Perm and the Hoosiers went to town in this game. Perm showing that his frame is too much to handle for his Big Ten opponents. He's a monster inside though I would expect him to be getting more rebounds. As Bill Goldberg would say, "Who's Next"?

Also, with limited minutes Alex Batch had an impressive stat line. Hopefully we can see Michigan in the Big Ten tourny so Perm and Batch can go at it again to see who is the best freshmen in the conference.

                            Indiana at Michigan

Indiana matched up with Michigan once again for the season at Michigan. Unlike last game Michigan delivered the blow-out the final score was 78-63.

                            Adidas Players

                            Joey Perm
Well as our Adidas team watched this game it was pretty much Zeller, Perm, and heroics from bench player Maurice Creek that kept them alive in this game. Together Indiana shot a terrifying 37% from the field the entire game.
Joey Perm's statline has taken a step back recently but during this game Yogi Ferrell dropped some nice dimes to Perm late game getting the Indiana Hoosiers fans who attended this game back on their feet. He showed his "Give me the ball and I'll score" attitude throughout the game but it just couldn't give them the win but it's certainly not his fought Indiana found themselves trailing the entire game.

                            C, Joey Perm - 15 Points, 6 Rebounds, 2 Blocks

                            Alex Batch
Alex Batch is emerging to a lite version of a star based on his previous games including a 25 point performance and his NBA stock is on the move going up. Tonight he has another chance to go up against Joey Perm but I'm really starting to think Batch and coach Beilein maybe have some feud going on or something because it's like he just refuses to play this star basketball player it's quite confusing if you ask me.
                            I mention that because...
                            1. Alex Batch was on the court for 16 minutes tonight
                            2. Alex Batch is averaging only 23.5 MPG this season
But to get positive it's a clear fact that Batch uses the best of his minutes each game. During this game he did just that but not really "filling" the stat sheet but did contribute in the big win for Michigan and that's what is important.

                            C, Alex Batch - 6 Points, 6 Rebounds, 2 Assists, 2 Blocks, 1 Turnover

                            Alex Batch2223.514.46.51.81.12.11.22.0

Key Notes: Alex Batch is shooting 47.5% from the field and 52.5% from beyond the arc from 80 attempts.

Trey Burke and his Michigan Wolverines took on Daylan Coleman and the Illinois Fighting Illini
Michigan Wolverines took this one winning by only one point.

                              Adidas Players

                              Alex Batch
As mentioned before Batch is still playing great basketball for Michigan as he's stay'd content with the stats as he did when he for the second time went up against center Joey Perm at Indiana.
This game Batch play'd great basketball taking advantage of Illinois starting center Nnanna Egwu even though he is a quality defender. Batch used a combination of all his skills from the post to the three point line against him as it was safe to say he won this matchup finishing with 16 points.

                              C, Alex Batch - 16 Points, 6 Rebounds, 2 Assists, 4 Blocks, 1 Turnover, 2-5 Three Point Shooting

                              Daylan Coleman
Coleman was visibly emotional about not earning the starting position for Illinois 2013-2014 roster he stated the following..

"I thought I would have locked it when I committed here but I guess not but I'm just going to thank the organization for having interest in me because I know there are good basketball players out in the world and they're still happy to be playing Division 3 basketball. So I'm just happy to be here and maybe next year I'll have the honor to be an everyday starter for this team."

And certainly if he gets that opportunity to start for the Illini next season or even this season it seems like he would be Thomas Robinson V2? Coleman got a position with Adidas because during camp he showed his all-around game with the required skill needed for a center to go to the next level. He processes a beautiful hook shot and if he can perfect it and consistently hit it on the normal basis he can be a scary player.
Playing only 10 minutes tonight Coleman added 6 points and 3 rebounds and a block to his stat sheet and got to the line 6 times and I remind you this was in 10 minutes.

During the recruiting period Petro and Indiana's freshman phenom Joey Perm planned to attend Louisville to form the Twin Towers V2. However after discussion with family and friends Perm decided he didn't want to cross the border to attend Louisville, Kentucky or any of the many schools who invested time scouting him. Nikola Petro then just dropped all the other offers and no-brained choose to go to college at North Carolina turning down the offers from Rutgers and Wake Forest. Every since then the two star centers formed a rivalry. The rivalry is growing to be one of the best since Larry Bird vs Magic Johnson but sadly North Carolina won't play Indiana this season.

James McAdoo and Nikola Petro performed great during this game. Nikola who dominated the whole game finished with 16 points and used his post moves to take advantage vs Tech's Daniel Miller.

                                C, Nikola Petro - 16 Points, 10 Rebounds, 2 Blocks, 2 Turnovers, 6-10 Shooting

                                Derrick Williams Jr.
The best shooter of Adidas Camp Sponsors is mainly the greatest definition to say about him... But unlike a lot of NBA players this guy has legit athleticism and he knows how to drive the lane. He's carried this Georgia Tech to a 15-9 record so far in his freshman season. The team is basically all in his hands and Julian Royal so it will be interesting to see how the rest of the season goes out for Georgia Tech.

In today's game UNC's defense was too much for Williams to handle as he went 4-19 from the field and 1-10 from beyond the arc.

                                SG, Derrick Williams Jr. - 12 Points, 3 Rebounds, 1 Assist, 4-19 Shooting, 1-10 3 Point Shooting
