North Carolina
UNC traveled to Ohio today to go up against #23 Ohio State today only to return to North Carolina with the L but gave the young UNC team their first game of true competition...
Ohio State just about out-did North Carolina in every single category but the most noticeable one had to be the rebounding margin which Ohio State recorded a +14...
UNC tried out their new line-up with putting freshman Ivan Petrovic on the bench after he finished with some un-expected performances and he just decided to show up off the bench and he looked very good scoring 16 to finsh second of UNC's scoring leaders in this game. However no one else besides Nikola Petro and that is another reason why they lost, Ohio State just shut them all down. Rodrick Sampling committed 5 turnovers in 26 minutes, Lucas Lagos committed 4 personal fouls in 12 minutes, newest starting line-up addition Bernie Hughes did absolutely nothing, and there was nothing special about their bench either besides the mentioned performance of Ivan Petrovic.Last edited by beast10; 02-03-2013, 07:46 PM.Comment

Week 6 Adidas Players Recap
_____________________
ACC Prospects
Rodrick Sampling
Nov 23rd, 2015 - North Carolina vs Ohio State
Poor and upsetting performance by Rodrick Sampling against Ohio State and matchup Cornell Duffy. Sampling only recorded one assist and turned the ball over 5 times in just 26 minutes. Didn't lead his offense at all to say the least.
Nov 26th, 2015 - North Carolina vs High Point
Great hustle and defensive game for Sampling to jump back from the last game against Ohio State. Rodrick Sampling lead North Carolina to another blow-out 116-63 and did a great job locking High Point's guard Jose Turner down only allowing him 3 points, 1-6 shooting. Sampling had a 16 points performance but for the second game in a row couldn't quite get the open man as he only assisted Nikola Petro for his only assist.
Lucas Lagos
Nov 23rd, 2015 - North Carolina vs Ohio State
Lagos had a lot of doubters after his head-shaking game against Ohio State regarding his ability to play against higher competition as well as the entire team besides proven Nikola Petro. At the Ohio State game Lagos only play'd a total of 12 minutes after committing 4 fouls in the little period and he didn;t finish with a single point and had 2 turnovers. Bad game to say the least.. Nov 26th, 2015 - North Carolina vs High Point
Desperately needing to bounce back Lagos did just that against High Point. He play'd back at his standards as he scored 14 points, grabbed 7 rebounds, lead starters in assist with 4, and rejected two shots.
Ivan Petrovic
Nov 23rd, 2015 - North Carolina vs Ohio State
Debuted this game off the bench for North Carolina as he and Petro were the really the only guys that were effective during this game causing them to be blown out by Ohio State but it couldn't have been blamed on Petrovic. He finished with 16 points and 3 assists while shooting 7-8 from the field as he filled in teammate Lucas Lagos minutes because of early game fouls.
Nov 26th, 2015 - North Carolina vs High Point
Despite being very effective in the Ohio State game coach Roy Williams still decided to keep Ivan on the bench. Petrovic continued his two break-out games and partially accepts his role and often goes back and tell the media how it's just going to take hard-work and it's the same way how his uncle Drazen finally got his chance. A great game for Ivan as he finishes with 17 points and 6 assists as he was a key player regarding the blow-out.
Nikola Petro
Nov 23rd, 2015 - North Carolina vs Ohio State
Petro proves to be a dominate force in the NCAA... Nikola Petro was clearly the only reason why North Carolina didn't lose by about 60 points against Ohio State as he scored 3 points under half UNC's points. But can't really claim he was that good in this game as he allowed senior center Hector Watts 25 points.
Nov 26th, 2015 - North Carolina vs High Point
High Points needs to learn how to defend the basketball and not foul every possession. These guys committed a total of 41 fouls and Petro was the main one getting points off them, he attempted 24 free throws in this game. Petro continued his amazing box-score games as he finished the game with 31 points and 13 rebounds and play'd great I.Q. basketball.
Derrick Williams Jr.
Nov 22nd, 2015 - Georgia Tech vs Wisconsin
D-Will the 3rd continues his heroic scoring ability after scoring a total of 47 points to increase his scoring average to 37 a game. Williams is an insane player and will probably end up graduating from Georgia Tech and becoming their greatest player of all time if he continues this amazing play.

Pierre Gonzalez
Nov 22nd, 2015 - Connecticut vs Maine
Sucks to see Pierre not have the ability to show off his skills this year but he should be there in the starting line-up with guard star shooting guard Trevour Schmidt graduating which will allow 6"5 guard Kingsley Barrelleca to transfer to the shooting guard position where I believe he's best suited for.
Gonzalez finished the game against Maine only playing 9 minutes and recorded one assists.
Nov 26th, 2015 - Connecticut vs 12 NC State
Pierre Gonzalez only got to play for 3 minutes and like last last, assisted a teammate to finish with an assist.

Big 10 Prospects
Joey Perm
Nov 22th, 2015 - Indiana vs 24 Florida State
Joey Perm has a great game but the Indiana Hoosiers don't, they end up losing this game to #24 ranked Florida State by 15 points. Perm walked off the court and appeared to be extremely angry about the teams performance.
Joey Perm went for 34 points, 10 rebounds, 4 rebounds, but gave the ball up 5 times.
Nov 26th, 2015 - Indiana vs Bradley
Despite the win criticism is flying through Indiana's basketball team as they barley beat Bradley. Perm once again walked off the court angry and during their post-game interview called out guard Horace Collison explaining how he can be playing much better than what he is and also told media that top recruit guard Curtis Grady should be getting more touches.
Perm lead Indiana throughout this game finishing with 28 points and 15 rebounds.

Big 12 Prospects
Adrian Hines
Nov 21st, 2015 - 20 Texas vs Southern Utah
Forward Adrian Hines continues his unexpected break-out season with this 32 point performance against Southern Utah. Hines also held matchup Lubor Mencio to 1 point.
Nov 27th, 2015 - 20 Texas vs UCLA
Another good performance for Adrian but it wasn't enough for Texas as UCLA upsets Texas winning this game by a shot from guard Antonio Okafor with about 2 seconds remaining.
Hines goes for 25 points and shoots 10-17 from the field to complete a great all-around game against UCLA.
Notable: Hines has not allowed his starting matchup more than 1 point from the past two games.
D'Jasper Popincrux III
Nov 21st, 2015 - 20 Texas vs Southern Utah
Probincrux III gets dominated by former Mr. Basketball for Nevada, Derrick Love. D'Jasper allowed Love to take advantage of him and score 27 points.
D'Jasper finishes with only 6 points and 9 rebounds but contributed in the big win against Southern Utah.
Nov 27th, 2015 - 20 Texas vs UCLA
Texas arrived in California to take on UCLA and Pobincrux assignment was Adidas freshman Tyler Hoyt. Pobincrux did what he was known for which was to play defense as he blocked 3 shots but UCLA's Hoyt rejected 4 including 2 from Pobincrux.
D'Jasper Pobincrux III continues with all-around average stat-line to finish this game with 7 points, 3 rebound, 3 assists, 3 blocks, 1 steal..
Brian Lyons
Nov 23rd, 2015 - Kansas vs Middle Tennessee
Good game from Lyons but not for the team at all for the Kansas team as Middle Tennessee delivers the huge upset after blowing Kansas out by 17 points.. Half of MT's success came from 7'3 center Obij Aget as he used his size and dominated Lyons in the paint. Lyons went for 16 but was out-rebounded by Aget.
Nov 27th, 2015 - Kansas vs California
Kansas is once again blown out for the second game in a row but this time by California. The game ended and California defeated Kansas by 47 points. Once again it was Lyons's matchup who led California to the big win and that makes Lyons's past two games he has allowed his matchup to score +20 points. At the same time though the entire loss can't be blamed on Brian Lyons, he lead Kansas scoring this game with 19 and was the only player to score in double digits for Kansas besides bench player Lance Tucker who scored 12 points in 18 minutes.

Horizon Prospects
Anthony Collins
Nov 23rd, 2015 - Butler vs Pacific
Butler had a week to practice after their loss against Middle Tennessee and still lost by 9 against Pacific to make it their 2nd straight lost. Butler shot 38% from the field and Anthony Collins to be specific shot 1-6 from the field, (1-4 from three). Stole the ball 3 times and turned it over 5 times. Not the best game for Collins...

Pac-10 Prospects
Connor Kim
Nov 20th, 2015 -Arizona vs Portland State
Connor Kim dominates the easy competition against Portland State and goes for 28 points and 4 assists and finished with 0 turnovers.
Nov 20th, 2015 -Arizona vs Texas A&M
Connor Kim tones the offensive tempo of Arizona starting line-up and turns it up for bench forward Felton Rohde and got him a 19 point performance. Kim also did a good job of defending nephew of Dikembe Mutombo, Dustin Mutombo.
Connor scores 12 points, 4 assists, and another 0 turnover performance.
Tyler Hoyt

Lagos is playing like Kwame Brown against prime Shaq..Damn he's bad... Hoping he can regain his concentration and help us win more games. Petro is tearing it up on the offense. And Petrović is again showing off why he is dubbed to be the next Kukoč. Great to see how his girlfriend who just arrived is having an effect on his game.Comment
