Re: The Gold Standard: The Ronnie Gold Story
Damn! Oladipo on the Spurs, and Andrew Harrison with CP3 on the Clippers. Nice to see Vonleh joining Shabazz in Orlando. And Hezonja would be a good option off the bench for the Bulls.MIAMI HEATComment

Re: The Gold Standard: The Ronnie Gold Story
Dude, I don't blame you. Wiggins is damn good this year with Parker not far behind. I'm just waiting till Kobe retires (or suffers a career ending injury *cough*) and Jabari can make the Lakers a good team to cheer for once again.Comment

Re: The Gold Standard: The Ronnie Gold Story
If only you picked any other team than the lakers. I would love the storyline, but I'm a Celtics fan, but I'm also a Duke fan so I'm rooting for Jabari, but also for the celtics. #SoTorn lolComment

Re: The Gold Standard: The Ronnie Gold Story
First, congrats on 200 posts. Second, do you know how to turn off auto save?Comment

Re: The Gold Standard: The Ronnie Gold Story
And no, I have no idea how to turn off Auto-save in an already started dynasty. One of the things I absolutely HATE about 2K13 is the forced auto-save (though it freezes a lot less than 2K11 did, so I guess it helps?). I heard about a auto-save hack you can do at the beginning, but never bothered to try it. It's here: http://www.operationsports.com/forum...-autosave.html
As much as I hate auto-save, it actually makes me think about every move I make (because that damn save kicks in) and I can't fall back to an old save if I screw up a trade or one of my players gets messed up in-season. It's almost real life like in that respect, so I keep it on.
Plus, I rack up a ton of VC with all the games I play and eventually will do that mode (my guy will be a God, lol).Comment

Oh, wow, didn't even realize I had 200. Awesome!

I read that thread and I knew about that but didn't think to do it at the star of the association, I used it once before but I didn't know that once you gave it a file it didnt still auto save.
Oh and how did you make your title pic? Because i would love to use this one picture I have, but IDK how to put words on it, and IDK how to put it into the post.
Edit, I could back out, and there aren't any real coaches (damn) so it doesn't matterLast edited by BraedenG33; 04-15-2013, 06:48 PM.Comment

Re: The Gold Standard: The Ronnie Gold Story
I don't hate him. I dislike him with a vengeance. The dude is a great player but he's so gungho about winning that he sacrifices everything for it. He's one of those players that I love on the court but can't stand off the court. I'm really not looking forward to him being injured for the next 6-9 months, because he's going to be going insane while rehabbing and driving everyone else insane. If D12 resigns with the Lakers (which I hope he doesn't, he's not a Laker type of player) he's going to be forced to endure Kobe trying to force himself back to the forefront when he comes back. I foresee that being a big problem if Dwight stays.
Luckily, D12 did not stay in my chise. Kobe is back to alpha-dog and will remain that way till he retires in my chise, which is the best role for him because its the only role he'll accept anymore.Comment

Re: The Gold Standard: The Ronnie Gold Story
First time back on the Dynasty section on OS in a while and this had to be the first thing to come and check out and catch up on. Finally got my sh**t together and I can bone up on your dynasty and Get back to mine.
I have to say Trek you never fail to disappoint my man. The Lakers will be an interesting journey for Ronnie and With Kobe approaching Father time the torch is about to be passed on to Jabari Parker and it should be a wild ride with all these Melo comparisons, The Kid can become a stud in the NBA with the right surroundings. Quite wild as well that Boston and LA wound up 1 & 2 with two future franchise centrepieces in a great draft class to propel their storied franchises back to glory.
The story is developing nicely and one thing I'm getting sentimental about is Liz's health and I hope we don't see the end of Desmond.
Keep up the good work. (I know you will anyway)

Having Boston and L.A. land the first two picks was a very David Stern like move (but he's retired ... or is Adam Silver merely a puppet for his evil machinations?) but one that I adored.
The NBA is gonna get VERY interesting over the next few seasons.Comment

Re: The Gold Standard: The Ronnie Gold Story
Big fan of the Bogut signing. Love his game but I can already expect that he'll be hurt during some part of the seasonComment
-
Re: The Gold Standard: The Ronnie Gold Story
Yeah, I love Bogut's game too but his injuries are a concern. It's why I signed Thompkins and Varejo, to operate as stop-gaps if Bogut goes down. Trading for Crash too was also part of the plan of limiting the negative effects of his absence (and getting that first rounder for the Nets, which I need since I traded mine to Nuggets for Chandler the year before).Comment
