    Help Me Get Recruited

So for those of you who don't know, I had my chise on here which I let die because I had a vision of making it 100x better, thanks to R.2's Minnesota Timberwolves dynasty, hopefully it can be as good as his, except mine primarily focuses on my player. (http://www.operationsports.com/forum...s-journey.html)

Among one of the ideas, was starting off in college, cause its a journey you know. Now I don't watch much college basketball (probably cause USC is terrible) but I did watch more this season and finding a school to attend is really difficult, I wonder how top recruits do it haha. But here are the choices of schools I am considering beginning my journey at.

I am also unsure whether to do College Hoops 2K8, or NCAA Basketball 2010. I'm leaning towards NCAAB10 simply because of the presentation and how new it still feels. I must admit I hate many of the animations, and I've tried 2K8 for maybe like two days and gave up ha so any help is much appreciated.

UCLA - I'm from Los Angeles, born and raised, and I'm a die-hard USC fan. I've always wanted to attend SC but the price is ridiculous and it takes a ****load to get in. Many of my friends went or go to UCLA, and many of them have told me they accept everybody haha, so in real life I had a tough decision of whether I should attend there or gut it out and wait for SC. The tradition of UCLA basketball though is what really intrigues me to start my journey here. Pauley Pavillion (idk if they changed the name) the jerseys, the floor, simple and old school, something I really like. The downside is the mediocre PAC-10 conference. I don't want to have to play the likes of Washington St., Oregon St. USC each year twice. Maybe something can lure me into staying home and beginning my journey there, I mean it's not like the Clippers or Lakers are going to draft me right?

Indiana - Tradition is a big factor in my decision, and Indiana has alot of it. Like I said about UCLA.. Assembly Hall, the floor design, the jerseys, it's in a good conference with Michigan, MSU, OSU, Wisc, I think Illinois was still good during 2K8 and NCAAB10, but conference games are going to be huge! It'll feel just like the Big 10 this year. The only downside here is the Indiana roster.. I looked it up, in the '10 season they finished like 10-21.. I don't wanna be playing with scrubs now. Besides, I'm trying to make the Final Four! Raise my draft stock haha.

Louisville - Rick Pitino. I've always admired him as a coach, and definitely would love to play for him. I would also love to play against Big East competition, as they are my #1 choice as far as what conference would i prefer to play in. Louisville is always a tourney team, always in the hunt, I love the colors, I love the atmosphere and as much as I hate the Celtics, I hate Kentucky basketball even more, especially now because I HATE THE ONE AND DONE RULE and they are the main culprits. Only downfall here is that *spoiler alert* I get drafted to the Blazers, and the courts and colors may be a bit too repetitive to me. I'm trying not to let that be the deciding factor as to why I don't head to Lexington?, KY.

Connecticut - Though I do not watch much basketball, I really love Connecticut. I would also love to play for Jim Calhoun, and many of the NBA talents he's been able to produce have been some of my favorite players , (mainly Rudy Gay and Ben Gordon). My player was originally modeled after Rudy Gay, and Rudy Gay is myplayers favorite player so what better way to honor him by attending his school. I haven't really found a downfall for UConn but I'm still looking for one haha. UConn was my original choice but that was before I had this "prequel" idea.

Duke - Nothing really needs to be said about Duke haha. The only downfall here is they play in the ACC, which to me, if I'm gonna be one the best teams in the conference, that conference better be packed. I don't see many battles with Boston College, Virginia, Wake Forest, etc. happening.

Xavier - Always one of my favorite mid-majors to play with, and I love he Atlantic 10 conference. There is no downfall for me on why I should play here.

USC - To achieve my goals of attending USC, and also staying home. Lord knows I need to watch my Laker games haha.

With a small consideration of attending, Kansas, UNC, Georgetown, CSUN, and a school in the SEC?

Can any of you guys help me make a tough decision haha.. It would be greatly appreciated.

You know, personally, I kinda like seeing someone build up, starting with a very small program and working their way up. But whatever. Out of those I would choose USC probably.

    Also, CH2K8 all the way.

As a Cincy native, I would take Xavier. But since you are a LA homer, live the dream of going to USC.

Oh, and just to say I would love to see a new dominating force in the Cintas Center and the A-10.

You know what, that's generally what I do. I usually start off as an A10 school (in NCAA Football I start off as Fresno St.) and work my way up. But this is just gonna be for "myplayer". Sure I'd do the recruiting and what not, but like the chise I did, it's gonna be player lock.

Ugh, the only thing keeping me from making it 2K8 is it felt outdated to me when I did give it a shot. I absolutely love the presentation from NCAAB10, and since it's gonna be a video'd journey, I want to keep followers and readers watching some good good you know haha.
