The Coaching Career of Zach Kennedy (Ch2k8)

What's up boys? I'm GoldenJet, or Ryan and I've been on OS for a while now. Spent most of my dynasty making days up north in the Hockey Dynasty section, but after reading through some of these College legacies, I couldn't help but jump in and see what I could do. Realizing I had in my position my own copy of College Hoops 2k8 definitely helped as well, haha. Bare with me, I'm new to how College Basketball works, so if I goof up with recruiting or something, don't bite my head off. Thanks and I hope you enjoy.

Hamilton, NY - The Head Coach of the Colgate Raiders men's basketball team, Matt Langel, lasted all but one season before being dismissed by the university after a disappointing 8-22 2011-2012 season.

Langel had previously been apart of the coaching staff at the University of Pennsylvania and Temple University, both as Assistant Coach before becoming Head Coach of Colgate University.

Replacing him will be former NBA player, Zach Kennedy. Zach Kennedy previously attended Duke University for all four seasons of his eligibility, winning himself a National Championship during the 2010 season. Kennedy went on to play two seasons with the Atlanta Hawks before sustaining a career ending injury.

"I was excited to get back into the game, I have confidence in this team as it is and am excited with the opportunity to build a successful program here at Colgate University" commented the new, 25 year old coach.

Though the style of play Kennedy will issue out on the Raiders is currently unknown, there has been speculation that it will be similar to the play he showed during his short, but impressive career.

"I honestly don't know how or what kind of system I'll implement here." he said. "I personally like a fast style of basketball that works hard up and down the court. It will all depend on who I have to work with".
