The Call-Up; Adam Adkins Story

Just after playing the Rising Stars game, Adam Adkins received a weird text.

"Not sure what they were congratulating me about",

Adkins was quoted telling the Media after the game. We here in the news group took the liberty to do some digging.

"At first, we all thought it was a few late texts about Rookie Of The Year, so we all brushed it off" Adkins told us. After being the first "Watched" to win the Rookie Of The Year, and to join the Rising Stars, it turns out that Adkins was also up for one more gig. As he worked his way back to the hotel, he saw a note. As it turns out, Adkins was invited to the All Star Game.

"I found out, I nearly jumped through the roof", Adkins was telling us.
"To play beside Griffin, Love and Westbrook, can't wait!".

We asked him a few questions.

Interviewer 1: So, when you heard the news.. first person you called?
Adkins: The Gardston Bros. Haha. Had to boast!

Interviewer 2: Whats more exciting, Rookie of the year, or being the first of "The Watched" to join the All-Star Game!?
Adkins: Honestly, I'd have to say this news. I mean, rookie of the year is amazing. Means I'm the best rookie out there. But all star game.. come on. I'm playing beside the big guns. Griffin, Love, Westbrook, Gasol... unbelievable.

Interviewer 3: Any thing you want to tell your fans?
Adkins: Always believe in yourself. I did, and I've come so far. Follow the dreams!

Heat/Hornets swap Boozer and Sundin

Carlos Boozer has been sent to the New Orleans Hornets in exchange for a "Watched" Scott Sundin. Sundin will play a role PG due to the fact that Shane Larkin (6th) and Norris Cole (starter) both have veteran-ship on the Heat. To make room, Ryan Day has been waived by the Heat, but has since been signed by the Raptors. This is what they had to say about the trade:

"Horrible. I feel absolutly crappy that Sundin comes in, and kicks me out. I hope the Raptors appreciate me more then the Heat did." - Ryan Day, Toronto Raptors
