After a long interview process and an exhausting amount of questions with both candidates Cavaliers owner Dan Gilbert has made his decision going with relatively unheard of coach over than Mike Brown 2.0. With the hire Mooseboyj held his first press conference. The new coach fielded questions and answered promptly.

Reporter-" Coach what was your reaction to being considered for this job and then to learn that you got it?"
Mooseboyj-" Well I was excited to learn I had a chance but when I learned I got this job I was happy and then I got to business calling my assistant coaches trying to get ready for this draft."
R-" And what are your plans for this draft and the future beyond?"
M-" Without revealing anything, I play a unique style of ball. We will draft and build around Irving and Waiters in our back court. Look for a new addition in FA to help in the front court."
R-" Rumors are that you are a big Lebron fan. Are you eying trying to get him back when he becomes a FA next year."
M-" What did Rafiki say to Nala when Simba was missing?"
R-" Are you saying-"
M- "Good night and thanks for being here."

With that Mooseboyj got up, shook Gilberts hand, and jogged off stage to begin trying to become a legend in Clevland.

In the draft Mooseboyj drafted Cody Zeller with the #3 overall pick to provide depth after an aging Varejao. The Pacers traded away their 22nd overall pick to the Cavs for a 2014 1st rounder. The Cavs then turned and traded #22 pick in the first round to the Charlotte Bobcats for their 1st and 2nd rounder in 2014. So in his first ever NBA draft Mooseboyj has secured 3 future picks in 2014 and drafted a top flight prospect. GRADE?

Then hitting the open waters of FA Coach went after the big fish that is Dwight Howard. After grueling days of contract talks the Cavs reached a 3 yr $51.63 Million contract with player option and NTC. With a new front court face Coach went to work on providing depth to Kyrie and Co. He targeted the 38 year old SG Ray Allen and signed him to a 1 year $2.31 Million with a Player option. Feeling he needed more depth he targeted undrafted rookie Seth Curry, little brother of superstar Stephan Curry, signing the young pup to a 2 yr $3.13 Mil with a 1yr team option. GRADE?

In a huge first game for the rookie coach the Cavs pull of a rout on the road against the Mavs in a 91-62 upset. Kryie didn't get off to a hot start but finished as the Jordan player of the game with 20 points and drawing the only and 1 of the night. The only free throw of the night. Dirk scored the first 6 points for the Mavs but had no help Collision didn't score till midway through the second and 1/14 doesn't get it done from 3. The Mavs only 3 came Larkin with 1:23 left in the game. The starting 5's went pretty even with the Mavs starting putting up 40 to the Cavs 43. Story of the game was Mooseboyj's newest players. Curry had 6 assists and 10 points was 4th in scoring. Cody Zeller went a perfect 7 of 7 with a variety of layups, dunks, and vicious put-backs for 14 points. Ray Allen led the 2nd team off the bench with 19 points.

In a game in which Kobe dropped 43 points, 8 rebounds, 4 dimes, and 2 steals on the younger, less experienced, and easily rattled Cavs it looked hopeless. That was before the NBA veteran 38 year old 2 guard stepped on the floor with 2:23 left in the 2nd quarter and dropped 5 out of 5 threes to cut the Lakers lead to 2 before the half. Ray Allen deserved serious props for doing his job and giving his team hope.

After only scoring 11 points and 3 assists in the time before Ray took the floor coming out of the half Kyrie went nuts. Ending with 28 points 1 rebound and 10 assists with a couple steals. Not only earning him the Jordan player of the Game but also the first double double of the year. The relentlessness of the younger Cavs + Kobe having to sit sometime= 98 to 85 victory.
Gee stepped up with 18 points and 7 rebounds while Waiters had 16/0/3. Dwight had 12 points and 4 fouls.

Behind Kobe the next leading scorer was Gasol with 10. No one else even came close.

Even tho the Cavs shot 48% behind the arc to the Lakers 54% the Cavs made more 3s than the Lakers attempted to shoot.
