Question 1: How does it feel to win this award?

Question 3: Everyone thought you were going to Orlando. How shocked were you when they announced you have been traded?

Parks:

Question 1: Its really an honor at first I had my doubts about even being mentioned among all the other rookies the way my minutes were. With hard work my minutes increased and harder I will continue to work.

Question 2: You never know what the future holds...but Rookie of the Year...I think I'm in good sights for it.

Question 3: Real shocked...I didn't know Toronto wanted me so bad. I'm real happy to be here playing in China helped me get over being homesick.

Question 4: I was in the gym practicing my jumper with Rudy. We decided to finally take a break...you know sipping on some gatorade and I decided to check my phone for any calls. There were a few calls but a buddy of mine sent me a text in all caps saying I won Rookie of the Month. I immediately spit out all the gatorade in my mouth.

Question 5: Again don't know what the future holds but look out in January.

Dunk Contest Contestants Reveled!

Two rookies were named in this year's dunk contest. One, you may know from the Toronto Raptors, and one from the Dallas Mavericks.

Julian Parks, from the Toronto Raptors, is averaging 7.4 PPG in 14.9 MPG. Many have questioned why he's up against Faried and Blake Griffin. At 6'7, the 23 year old is nothing but dunks, preforming fantastic ones at every change he can get.


After missing 6 weeks with a Torn Hamstring, Paul Thursday is back and better then ever. Still healing, he is confident that he will be ready by the time the day arrives. Averaging 19.6 minutes, he has a 7.6 PPG, and 4.5 RPG. Due to the injury, he has only played 32 games thus far, 7 of which he started.
