New C.A.P Sign up [Keepin' It Fresh]

What do you want to see in it? I'm thinking of restarting this current one going on. Everyone would be in the 2013 or 2014 draft.

Feel free to add background storie(s)

I'll make a forum to keep it more organized. I'll post forum once this gets people.
    Old thread was here: http://www.operationsports.com/forum...-risin-up.html

All this talk has glitched the save (was bound to happen). You may do TWO C.A.P's, but must have a story between them (Brothers, friends, room mates, etc).

    Back story
Christian was in Chicago. His parents moved when they realized how dangerous the city was. They moved to Brooklyn when he was two. During his childhood he played basketball starting at age 3, but that wasn't enough to keep him out of trouble. He was in a gang by the age of 10 doing stupid things with his friends, but when he turned 11 his parents moved him out of Brooklyn because he was getting in so much trouble. He moved to Stafford, VA and started to really take basketball seriously. By the time he got to high school he was ready. He went to Fredericksburg Christian High School. He already knew the coach since the seventh grade so he started varsity his freshmen year. He had one of the best high school careers since Lebron James averaging 30.8 Points, 11.5 Rebounds, & 6.5 Assist. He committed to Georgetown University to stay close to his parents. In his one and done year he averaged 23.9 Points, 8.6 Rebounds, and 5.8 Assist. He brought them all the way to the Elite 8 but ended up losing. He then left for the NBA draft knowing he was going to go in the top 3, if not the first pick. At the NBA draft combine he showed he had elite athleticism with a 44.5 inch vertical leap, and a no step vertical of 39.5 inches. He showed he could hit the NBA three too, and that he was a elite mid range shooter. Scouts said he probably had the best performance at the combine, which was expected of this once in a generation player. Now will see where the rest of his basketball career goes in the NBA.

Backstory: Matt was born and raised in Florida. He grew up watching and admiring Heat legends such as Alonzo Mourning, Tim Hardaway, and Glen Rice and trying to model his game after them. At the young age of 14, Matt tried to make a high school team but failed in every aspect. He was primarily a bench player up until his senior year of high school where he made a huge break through. As a high school senior, Cook averaged 20 points, 11 assists and 3 steals per game. He was recruited by some of the best college teams, hoping that he would have a big impact. Cook eventually decided to go with the University of Kentucky, mainly because of their head coach, John Calipari. Coach "Cal" had been putting out great point guards with Kentucky in recent years. Do John Wall and Rajon Rondo ring a bell? As the NBA Draft was coming near, Matt decided to leave just after he finished his freshman season, where he averaged 16 points and 10 assists per game.

Background story: Brothers born 4 years apart, but spent a lot of time growing up together. From the age of 8, Daylan became attached to Duke basketball while his older brother loved UNC. When Adam was a senior in high school, Daylan was trying to make the varsity squad to play along side his brother. During that summer their father passed away which made their bond even stronger. They would play just 5 games together in high school, including a playoff loss that sent their team home with a 4th place trophy. After seeing his oldest brother move to NC, Daylan improved his jumper to become an elite prospect and land at Duke. UNC would win both games between the two brothers in the only year they went head to head. Adam averaged 15 ppg, 6.5 asg in the two games while Daylan struggled against his big brother shooting just 39% from the field ( 25% from downtown) and fouling out in the game at Duke. Adam has always told his brother to be his own man and not listen to the comparisons people have.

                          Which draft?: 2013
(2013, 2014, 2015, other... If the draft has already been done, you will be put in the next one)

Backstory: A late bloomer... Didn't make the Varisty squad until his junior season. Was always kinda short until his senior season so e had to rely on a jump shot which he didnt have. He then said f*** it, from this day on I'm a slasher. He became one of the most aggressive players in the country while also have a growth spurt which put him at 6"6...
He commited to NC State his senior year. He played in Napperville, Illinois and averaged 26.3 points per game while also grabbing 14.6 boards and leading Naperville Central High School to the state championship.
Going into college, Parker, was listed as things such as "The Most Exciting Player in Class 2008", and many more.
                          Notable Mentions:
                          Gatorade National HS POY
                          2x NCAA Championships
                          NCAA National POY

He competed at competed at North Carolina State for all four years...

FRESHMEN SEASON -- Epic Happy Parker arrives on campus.. Promised the starting position by the coach... "Really looking forward to this" said Parker. The Wolfpack finished the season 24-12 and Happy didnt quite live up to his famous hype. He averaged 11.6 points per game, and 4.8 rebounds while also dishing out 2.1 assists. But get this, he only shot 37.3% overall. It turned out the college game wasn't going to let him work in the paint, aggressive or not... Arriving on campus at 193 pounds wasn't going to allow Parker to play his type of game & he found that out quickly.
** The Wolfpack were under .500 in conference play**

                          SOPHOMORE SEASON -- Redshirted
"I'm going to use my redshirt and take this season off to get in shape and to work on my game"
"I'm a better player than what I showed last year and I know Im capable of doing way better than what I did my freshmen season."
NC State finished their season 34-2 arguably credited to newly center Markel Brown who's considered to be the next dominant bigman. However they lost in the final four.

JUNIOR SEASON (Post Redshirt) -- Coming out of his redshirt seasons it was reported that Happy Parker absoulty DOMINATED at the team workouts. At the NC State midnight madness Parker put up 26 points, and recorded 8 rebounds along with 4 assists.
It was quite a scary duo with Brown and Parker on the same team. For that reason along with last year's dominant season the Wolfpack were awarded the number one position in the pre season poll.
"How about Happy Parker & Markel Brown" that was the word on the street. These two were expected to take the NCAA by storm this season and did they? Yes. These two led the Wolfpack to a undefeated season and finished it off with the NCAA national championship being awarded to NC State.
Happy Parker was named the national player the year coming off his epic season. He averaged 21.7 points, 7.3 rebounds, an 3.1 assists in 32.4 minutes a night. A notable part in this season was that Parker only attempted 4 three point jump shots.
After such a great season Parker was expected to be entering the NBA but that wasn't the case.
At a press conference he stated that he's staying and is going to finish his college career and get his education.

SENIOR SEASON -- Awarded another pre season #1 team, NC State was on the verge of becoming an all decade team. They could literally not be stopped in the paint as long as Happy Parker & Markel Brown were on the floor.
These two, as expected, turned in another great year and Parker finished his college career as a two time NCAA Championhip winner. Yes, the Wolfpack won it back to back. Although they somewhat had a few upsets in the regular season, they defeated every tournament team by over 15 points. In that stretch Parker averaged 28.4 points per game.
The Wolfpack topped the regular season 30-4 and were ACC conference champs. Happy couldn't be more happier to end his college career as one of the most memorable players to ever step on campus.
Parker averaged 24.7 points per game, 8.0 rebounds, and 4.3 assists, 2.1 steals, and 0.7 blocks. He recorded a career high 38 points at the underrated UNC vs NCST battle.
His memorable senior speech left many in tears and honestly he will go down as one of the greatest college athletes, ever.

PRE NBA DRAFT -- Happy has been working extremely hard on his jump shot this summer but there hasn't been a significant improvement but it has indeed gotten better.
He recorded a 44.2 inch vertical at the Pre-Draft workouts and showed why he is a top pick.

THE SUPERIOR QUESTION: Is this Happy Parker the NEXT young Michael Jordan or a more proven Alec Burks?

I'm just going to copy over my other one..

                              Name: Robert Bolig
                              Position: C
                              Secondary Position: -
                              Jersey #: 78
                              College/from: Penn State
                              Weight: 330lbs
                              Height: 7'0

Bolig is a dominate inside presence. In high school, he averaged 35 points and 20 rebounds a game during his career. He was one of the top rebounding and defensive centers coming out of college, a team looking to shut down soft inside teams like the Heat would be drooling over him. He brings great strength on the inside as well, and at times it seems like he's going to bring the rim down, but can drop in soft shots from 8 feet out. He can't be bullied inside, and he's not afraid to take a foul.. or give one. He is a selfless player, and for a big man, is a decent passer. He is always looking for the best shot, whether it be for him or someone else on the team.

His biggest issues have always been his hustle and stamina. A player at his size can spend 30, 35 minutes on the court, but you can be sure to have plays where he's pretending that he's jogging down the court to catch his breath. The heart and determination is there, but with him at that size, it's bound to catch up to him a couple plays a game. Outside of about 8 feet from the rim, he's not going to have a very good shooting percentage. He doesn't shoot a lot from the medium range, but when he does, hopefully the team has some solid offensive rebounders because the ball will most certainly not make it in. While he also is a decent passer, he will sometimes try and force the ball if he thinks he can squeeze it through a tiny hole.

                              -

                              Name: Ian Hill
                              Position: PG
                              Secondary Position: SG
                              Jersey #: 1
                              College/from: Penn State
                              Weight: 225lbs
                              Height: 6'4

The strengths that Hill uses to his advantage the most are his handling skills and passing. He's always been a great passer, averaging over 15 assists per game during his high school career and just above 13 in college. He was an amazing shooter and could spot up anywhere on the court. He shot a contested three just as accurately as he shot a wide open three. His athleticism helped him get to the rim and finish when he needed to, and he wasn't afraid to take anyone on.

Sometimes he got too fancy with his handles, and although he shot the contested threes well, he just shot way too many contested shots. Whenever he could have dished it out to someone around the perimeter, he almost always decided to keep it to himself. He got frustrated easily, fouling out quite a few times in his high school and college career, and scouts said his attitude was going to be a huge problem if he didn't turn it around.

                              That's where Bolig came in.

Best friends the second they moved to Richland High School their sophomore years, Bolig was always the level headed one of the two. Whenever Hill would get frustrated, Bolig would get into his face and calm him down. He was always the voice of reason. And while Bolig seemed to take plays off, that was one area where Hill helped him. Rushing him up the court whenever need be.

On the court, they made immediate impacts. They both started every game from their sophomore year to their senior year of high school. While it was stated that Hill hated passing the ball out to the perimeter, it seemed weird because he averaged 15 assists. Most of them came to him dishing it down to Bolig on the inside, whether it be a "thread-the-needle" pass or an ally-oop, they jelled together so well.

Whenever it came down to signing day, they couldn't imagine going their separate ways, so they spent months deciding where to go. Bolig always knew he wanted to go to Penn State, but it was convicing Hill that was the best place for them. Wherever they decided to go, scouts knew that school was going to head straight to the top. They were both considered top 5 players at their positions, won multiple All-State, All-American Awards, and Hill won the McDonald's All-American Dunk Contest.

The second they both committed to Penn State, State was instantly considered a powerhouse.

Everyone expected them to leave after their freshman years, but they weren't satisfied with coming up short of a National Championship after being upset in the Elite Eight. They came back, hungry, and won the National Championship in the sophomore years. Again, everyone thought they were going to leave, but they stayed. They reassured the school, it's fans, everyone.

                              "We're here for four years"

They stayed, and once again as Juniors came up just short, this time in the National Championship Game. They trained even harder before their Senior seasons. They wanted to go out on top and they did. Winning the National Championship, the school sent what they now believed would be their two best players ever to come through.

They finished their careers, each making the All-American Team Four Times, and they each won a National Player of the Year Award, one during each of their National Championship runs.

So here they are now, sitting, waiting on Draft Day for their names to be called.

One thing they have hoped and prayed for, is that they both land on the same team again.

What better than two best friends to win a High School, College and Professional Championship together?
