Dontae': Man this new kid just walked in to the practice talking about he plays center. Well, I let him know what it's like to play center.

Brandon: You whacked him one, didn't you? Probably was a good one ha. Regardless...you got NBA superstar potential, I'd try to work on this kinda thing. Can't be missing important games, lettin' the team down because of stupid ish like this. Look, I get it, you've had issues in the past with people showing up and taking your spot. Ball out and that won't be an issue. You're 7'1'' dude, not only that but you can straight ball son. There is no chance you won't start every game of your high school career unless YOU cause it.

        EDIT: *second consecutive text*

Brandon: But no worries bro, I got your back. If that new dude is coming for you, we'll get in that gym and work on them three balls. A 7'1'' dude that gets straight buckets? No chance for anyone to take your job lol

          Jerry Williams

Just heard the news about Dontae and it bothered me a bit. Dontae was bit of a jerk but dude could play and I could respect that. I wasn't quite sure how I felt about the rest of the team beside Jeremy and our two supersubs.

          What a hassle....
          Yep Yep.......I'm just that good

Belltown High School Tigers vs Belleville High School Tigers

                    Locker Room Discussion

Coach Anderson: Second game of the season... Here we are, bouncing off a huge blowout win, it's gonna be the same results here.
Now as most of you know, a certain player will not be playing for us tonight but we've made some adjustments that we believe will keep us in the game. We're going to have Jerry still at pooint but Eury you'll be starting at shooting guard, Jeremy at small forward, and Adrian you're in a power forward while Chrsitian you'll slide down to center. I expect us to carry a smoove pace throughout the game to lead to the victory. The number one option will be Adrian Hines, I want you using your strength over these smaller guys, so getting into the post, driving to the basket etc.
Coming off the bench serving as sixth man will be Cole tonight, I'm expecting a good game from you to proove youself after that first game.

Let's remember we're out here at Belleville representing Belltown so let's go and get that win.

Belleview is an extremely undersized team so we should have the right away to get things going. We're going to cautiously run zone defense at the beginning of the game and see how they respond. If they're able to still conect we'll seitch to basic man to man defense.

Coach Anderson: Alright.. Belltown basketball, let's go. We're going to show Belleville who's the stronger Tigers out there tonight!

Christian: Team, I know we are without are best player, but we can still win with a overall team effort. We don't rely on one player to carry us to wins. We have 12 players that could help us get the W each and every game. Now lets go out there and win without Dontae!

Cole: I'm slipping into a 6th man role today. I'm fine with that, but I know for sure I'll have a better game than last time. Let's go Tigers WOO!

*Brandon is watching in the stands*

Brandon: Let's go Belltown! Let's show these jokers who the real Tigers are.

As he says this, he gets weird looks from parents. He quickly realizes he sat on the wrong side...Brandon picks up his stuff and nonchalantly walks over to the other set of bleachers.
