*Brandon's got his headphones in, listening to music to get him in the zone*

      Brandon's Thoughts:

"Man, I've seen a decrease in minutes since all these guys came up onto Varsity. Luckily, I've been able to make an impact off the bench. I think that I'll need to continue to improve my game to get myself onto a college roster. Rob Murphy continues to stay in touch, and I think if I show more improvement that they'll make an offer." And of course Jerry was sleeping during the meeting, its unbelievable how little he cares about the classroom part of the game. If he cared at all about it, he'd be elite."

Coach Rice: Ok, this is a huge game. We need to stop PG Bambi Shakur and their SF Casey Martin. If we do that, we should win.

Stevenson knocks off Belltown, 100-99 off of Game-Winning Shot with .3 seconds left

In an amazing game that saw both teams take leads of 7 or more in the 4th quarter, it came down to one last play. With 5 seconds left, Bambi Shakur passed the ball to Matt Kapono, who nailed the 3 with .3 seconds left. Brandon Gillespie couldn't get off his shot in time, and Belltown lost. Jerry Williams was the star in the loss, putting up 30 points.

Belltown plays Ann Arbor Pioneer next week.

                    Locker Room Speeches

                    Coach Rice

Look guys, clap it up. I really liked the effort out there. I know we lost by one, but we scored 99 points, which was nearly an MHSAA record. We will work ou the kinks on Monday, but I'm proud of you guys.
                    Coach Arambula

Terrible game guys, TERRIBLE!!!!!!!!! 55 POINTS!!!!!! That is AWFUL!!!!! I am ashamed!!! You guys all SUCK!! The only one that played well was my son Scott, so he doesn't have to run 20 suicides on Monday. However, everyone else WILL run 20 suicides on Monday. Now let's get out of here.
*On the bus back to Belltown, around 9:00 PM*

Bus Driver: ETA 10:00 PM people.

*What are you doing on the bus?*
