Hope I'm not too late, wouldn't mind hopping into one of these things you've got going News.
BIO
Name: Brandon Gillespie
GPA: 3.89
Class (Fr, So, etc): Sr.
Position: PG
Back story: Gillespie was an underappreciated player at Novi High his Freshman and Sophomore seasons, despite averaging near a double double in his first two seasons and breaking the school record for assists in a game (22) and in a season, he was cut from the Varsity squad early on in his junior year. He ended up making the team late in the season due to an injury to one of his teammates, averaged 15 and 10 down the stretch. His dad decided to move the family to Belltown this year due to a complication with their housing situation and the struggling economy. Just transfered to Belltown and is trying to get his footing. Looking to make friends and adapt to his new environment.

Scouting Report
Gillespie is a fiery competitor that won't back down from anybody despite his smaller stature. He has a desire to win and to contribute that is difficult to match. Because of this, he is an outstanding rebounder considering his size and overall physique. He has outstanding court vision, solid ball handling skills, and a knock down jumper. Considering the assist numbers he's averaged, I think it's fair to say he is a great passer and is excellent at finding his teammates for easy buckets. He's in great shape, conditioned very well from his years of track and cross country experience and could play the whole game if need be. However, Gillespie isn't exactly the most athletic player on the court, in fact, many would even suggest that's his weakness. He just seems to be in the right place at the right time and his overall intelligence translates well into basketball IQ. His inside game is also lacking, he struggles at times to finish at the basket despite finding his way there.

Re: Restoring the Fear: A Belltown Tigers Legacy
Brandon: Well I'm sorry you feel that way. Seems like somebody's having a rough week, not exactly smart to take it out on us though. The way I see it, you need steady player support after your previous "incident"...so I wouldn't be burning bridges before tryouts even happen.
*to Eury* Brandon: Man what's up her a**? I swear, I always run into butthurt coaches who have an agenda. It was a problem at my last school and its a problem here too.Check out my Houston Astros Dynasties:

Re: Restoring the Fear: A Belltown Tigers Legacy
*Brandon's inner thoughts are in green from now on*
She thinks I won't do it...I could do it, hell I could handle that easy. But I don't think I should. I'd rather not alienate myself from my future teammates by doing such a ridiculous request. I don't know anybody here, and teammates are always easiest to make friends with. But at the same time, I don't want to not make the team.
*Brandon starts raising the intensity of his shoot-around. After pondering for a second, he responds*
Brandon: Last I'd checked, we hadn't started this thing yet Coach. And if we had, we don't even have enough for a full team here...so wouldn't it be prudent to wait a little longer? Aren't teams best built by getting through common adversity, like conditioning? So I would think a competent coach who wanted to keep their job would want the team to bond so we'll play well as a unit, and would start the conditioning on time. Instead of *looks at the clock on the wall of the gym* a half hour early.Last edited by TheNumber35; 11-03-2013, 04:59 PM.Check out my Houston Astros Dynasties:
