Since getting NBA 2k14 for PS4, I'm motivated to do CAPS again. You can find the form to fill out in the bottom. This will have a twist. I'll need help of a few OS members also (who are extremely active)
Here's my thoughts.
1) Shopping
I'll add a place in forums where you can buy gear / items. You will basically get paid per game you play, equaling your total salary for the year (depending where you're drafted, how much you sign for in the future, etc). It will be $ divided by 82 (for games), and if you get suspended / injured and miss a few games, you miss the pay for those games. With this money, you can buy items for yourself. For example, you will be able to buy one of many types of cars, each with different attributes. The Lotus for example, is a small sports car worth about $40,000. If you buy this, you have an option to show up early to practice or games (gaining coach trust). You will be able to purchase houses, shoes, and much more.
2) First Take / Talk Shows
For this, I'll need a bit of help. I'm thinking like beast10 did before... First take will be random conversations between players / made up news anchor. They will discuss random events happening throughout the league (CAP related, if available).
3) Random Events
Random events may happen at any given point to your CAP. These could include going out with family, rival game talks between players, and much more.
If anyone has any more ideas to add, feel free. I'm heading out of town for a week, so hopefully people will join, and we can get started next Wednesday or Thursday (27th). There will be a forum created to keep track of everything. I'm sure more will be added also later on (Possibility of becoming the GM after you retire).
Hopefully this sounds interesting, and I'm going to try and make this as interactive as possible. Please post any ideas you guys have, as well as anything you don't like so far.
