    SEATTLE GETS SONICS BACK!
Seattle SuperSonics fans will be relieved and ecstatic when they hear that the Sonics are back! Toronto loses the Raptors in this move, and the Timberwolves move to the Eastern Conference to make room for the SuperSonics out in the Northwest Division of the Western Conference. This will be a fun revival of the Sonics for the fans in Seattle. The Sonics retrieved two draft picks in the 2014 NBA draft via trades. Andrew Wiggins, guard/forward from Kansas and Marcus Smart, guard from Oklahoma State were chosen in the draft to become the future of the Sonics franchise in the 2014-15 season and beyond. The SuperSonics also picked up experienced ex-Lakers in free agency: Kobe Bryant and Pau Gasol for the next three years. This will keep the SuperSonics competitive for the next couple of years in the brutal Western Conference. Mario Chalmers was also brought in with Kirk Hinrich to provide points on the bench. This should be an exciting season for Seattle and their fans. Stay tuned for more!

        Rookies in Seattle

This photo of Andrew Wiggins was taken during the recent 76-74 win over the Houston Rockets

Young rookies, Andrew Wiggins and Marcus Smart, are playing tremendously with their NBA team, the Seattle SuperSonics. Wiggins has averaged 24.3 PPG, 2.3 RPG, 3 APG, 0.7 SPG, 0.7 BPG, and a 46% field goal percentage. Smart has averaged 6.3 PPG, 2.3 RPG, 4 APG, 1 SPG, 0.3 BPG, and a 64.3 field goal percentage three games into the season. Both rookies have performed at a top level for rookies. Wiggins has won Player of the Week in the competitive Western Conference of the NBA. The SuperSonics have a tremendous bench lead by Mario Chalmers. Chalmers has helped Wiggins and Smart both in their transition into the NBA. NBA veteran, Kobe Bryant, has helped Wiggins and Smart in the starting lineup. Bryant brought Lakers teammate, Pau Gasol, to Seattle this summer to bring in a veteran presence for promising rookies, Wiggins and Smart. Wiggins and Smart seem very promising for Seattle's future as an NBA team after a 3-0 start that included defeating the Trail Blazers and the Rockets. Everyone should watch Seattle and be aware of a possible sixth ring for Kobe Bryant on this promising Seattle squad. Keep a close eye on the SuperSonics in the near future!

          Nowitzki Traded to Seattle!

The SuperSonics have traded 26 year old center, Javale McGee. McGee travels to Mark Cuban's rebuilding Dallas Mavericks along with the SuperSonics 2016 first round pick. Nowitzki comes to Seattle in the final year of his contract. Many have speculated that it's likely for Nowitzki to re-sign with an up-and-coming contender like Seattle. This will pair Nowitzki with former rivals Kobe Bryant and Pau Gasol, but this team will be anchored by the young rookies Andrew Wiggins and Marcus Smart in the current undefeated season for the sensational SuperSonics.
