Ok, training is closed.
Sorry for the lack of updates, I've just been really getting into my FIFA dyansty (Sunderland), so haven't played NEAC basketball in a bit. I'll get some 4th round action up Saturday night.Comment

After a game like that Jay would be lucky if a beer league would allow him to play"It's not about how hard you can hit, it's about how hard you can get hit and keep moving forward"Comment

Re: The NEAC: D–I Men's Basketball
Shaq is sitting at 21%.
I would have gotten the second out yesterday, but my Xbox decided to freeze whenever someone took a 3. I'll try to get it out by today, but expect tomorrow.Comment

Battle of the Bigs...And Valdez?
The main storylines this week in the NEAC come from the great play of big men. Shaq Davis improved his case for DPOY with a monster game, Jerry Malone had a cool double-double, as did DJ Porter... and then there was Angelo Valdez.
The first game saw the Harrisburg Miners lose to the Angelo—er, the Rochester Challengers 55-57. Valdez scored a league-high 31 points along with 4 assists in a huge win over under-performing messieurs Jay Greyvenstein and Anthony Brown.
The second game was a solid Hartford Lumberjacks win over the Camden Wildcats, 74-67. Jo Kane regained his form somewhat in a 22-point-outing, but DJ Porter's double-double with 3 blocks stole the show.
The third game was a tight duel, with Bel-Air falling 65-64 to Dover. Trey Youngblood scored 22 and had 6 assists, Happy Lovelace added 12 and 8 boards, but a team performance on the other side of the ball gave Dover the win. Casen Lewis scored 18 points and Jerry Malone logged a 14-point double-double for the win.
The fourth and final game, second of the season between Baltimore and Buffalo, saw Wolves' C Shaq Davis explode for 18 boards and 14 points. Omero Kai chipped in 17 and 6, while Ryan Kilpatrick notched 7 assists.
The NEAC has named both Angelo Valdez and Shaq Davis its players of the week.
Week 5 Games:
Buffalo @ Rochester
Harrisburg @ Camden
Hartford @ Bel-Air
Dover @ Baltimore
