    The Doug Rynell Story

    Chapter 1 - The Introduction
Doug Rynell 6'5 233 pounds former Indiana State Shooting Guard from 1975-79 was ecstatic when he was offered the Head Coaching Job for Indiana State what Rynell expected was to a couple winning seasons and retire little did he know he'd end up spending 8 Seasons with Indiana State and become Indiana States All-Time Winning Coach and taking Indiana State all the way to the Sweet 16 before losing to the later champions the Kentucky Wildcats he also didn't expect what was coming next a call from an array of NBA Teams wanting him to be their next coach because he was the only coach who coached with a classic style he also got calls from teams wanting him to be the new G.M of their Team due to his knowledge of the sport

    Chapter 2 - The Call
It wasn't until he was at a restaurant with his family when he got the call of a lifetime a call from the Boston Celtics asking him to be their new head coach after the depart of Brad Stevens for not being able to fulfill G.M wants
the next day Rynell bought a ticket to Boston to check out his new team and the team facility although the team thought that work was not going to be very hard for the next week or two Rynell had different plans making the Team Intensely practice the VERY NEXT day this is what powered Indiana State to multiple Sweet 16's and why he had so many team offers

    Chapter 3 - The Season
In the Celtics season opener against the Raptors the Celtics started out great with a 64-49 Lead to end the first half of the game but through the second half of the game Toronto fought back and ending up winning 105-103 and as the season rolled on the Celtics had a pretty good 25-16 record then Rajon Rondo tore his ACL and missed the rest of the season along with Jared Sullinger who tore his meniscus the Celtics ended with a 33-49 Record

Chapter 4 - Everything Figured Out
After just one short Season coach Rynell was on the Hot Seat he knew the only way to keep his dream job had this offseason so he traded a future 2nd round pick and Gerald Wallace to the Sacramento Kings to acquire the 13th pick of the Draft to go with their 4th Pick of the Draft so pretty much everything was going good for Coach Rynell all of his plans where going well with a Top 5 and a Top 15 NBA Draft Pick he also had extra cap room and was going to target a few role players in free agency

    Chapter 5 - Trade Rumors????
Everything was great until rumors surfaced that Rajon Rondo was available and was likely going to be moved to the Lakers,Suns,or the Rockets even though they were false and were started on twitter by some Lakers SUPER FAN these rumors pissed off Rondo so much that he announced that he would waive his NO-TRADE clause for any team offering and didn't talk to Rynell for
    a month

    Chapter 6 - THE DRAFT
The time was now the clock struck 8:00 and the Draft was started and it was only thirty minutes until the Celtics would get to choose their pick with their favorite player Clifford Brock from Kansas still on the clock the Celtics quickly picked him with only two minutes gone from the ten minute clock then it was their turn to pick again with the 13th Pick teams were calling up and down to get the pick but Coach Rynell denied every call and pick the 7'1 231 pound Center Carlton Porter from the University of Kentucky fresh off Back to Back NCAA Championship Seasons and as Adam Silver left the podium Coach Rynell left happy

    Chapter 7 - Free Agency
As Free Agency began the Celtics signed players like Danny Granger as a 6th Man they then signed a troubled Michael Beasley as a Role Player and lastly Jermaine O'Neal as a Role Player and then just like the NBA Draft Rynell left happy and felt like he addressed team needs
