Tough season so far but with a couple of good additions you could be awesome in a season or two.

76ers Acquire Schroeder and Scott From Hawks

With point guard Michael Carter-Williams out for at least the next 2 months with a broken foot, the 76ers were in dire need of help at the point guard position. Instead of picking up one off the streets, the Sixers and Hawks came to terms on a four player deal.

The 76ers will send shooting guard James Anderson and 2012 1st pick Arnett Moultrie to the Hawks for point guard Dennis Schroeder and power forward Matt Scott. The two main pieces in the deal are Schoeder and Moultrie. Both we're recently selected in the 1st round of the past two drafts. Both players were also buried on their teams respective depth charts behind other players.

Some scouts believed that Schroeder would be the best prospect of the 2013 down the road, which makes this move even more interesting. Carter-Williams will eventually come back from his broken foot, but will he be handed back his starting job? MCW has put of some nice numbers this season but he's also at the top of the league with almost 4 turnovers a game and he's only shooting 42% from the field.

The 76ers also made two other moves today placing Adonis Thomas and Darius Johnson-Odom on waivers.
