Wiggins scores 30 in win over Bucks

Tonight we saw a great battle between Wiggins and the Greek Freak

Minneapolis, MN -- After an extremely hot start, the Milwaukee Bucks are starting to fizzle out.

In tonight's game, we witnessed Andrew Wiggins' true potential as he scored a career high 30 points against a struggling Bucks defense. No one could stop the young man as he dominated inside and out, from start to finish.

Milwaukee started the game strong, pushing out to a 15-8 lead. Strong play from the veteran Mo Williams and Kevin Martin freed up Wiggins for some open looks, getting the game tied at 20. The Bucks would finish on a 7-0 run to take the lead 32-28 to end the first.

The last three quarters were all Minnesota, outscoring the Bucks by 24 to finish the game. They would take the lead in the second quarter and never looked back.

Despite great outings from Parker, Knight, and Antetokounmpo, the Bucks were unable to stop the Wolves on the defensive end.

The Bucks saw three double doubles, (Greek Freak 17p/11r, Knight 16p/12a, Parker 15p/10r). Without steady contribution from a big man, the Bucks won't be able to stay above .500. The Bucks big men totaled only 16 points combined.

Milwaukee heads to Detroit to take on the Pistons (6-9) for the third time already this season. After that, they head home to play Harden and the Houston Rockets (9-6)

Looks like Wiggins out-dueled Parker in their matchup. Your breezing through the first month of the season.

Stuck at home after I had four impacted Wisdom teeth removed, so I got lots of pain pills and free time. Yeah Wiggins played like a grown man, dominated both sides of the court.

              Rumors Infiltrate Bucks Locker Room
Milwaukee, WI -- In an era of the NBA dominated by tweets, Facebook, and the ability to have information in the blink of an eye, it's no surprise that there are quite a few rumors passed around the inter webs. One of the many this week, involved center Larry Sanders of the Milwaukee Bucks, as well as a few of his teammates.

In a tweet by Shaq, it appears the Bucks have put Larry Sanders and Ersan Ilyasova on the trade block. Now, the validity of this claim is questionable, but we doubt Shaq would be tweeting about it if it were false.

We interviewed Sanders this past week, and as you know, he is dealing with a bout with depression and anxiety. Here's what he had to say: "Man, I can't deal with these rumors. If they're true, I'd like to hear it from my organization, not some twitter account. Then I'll believe it."

He doesn't appear to be too phased by the rumors. He is having an average year for the Bucks. His stat line is essentially the same from last season. (13-14: 25mpg, 7.7ppg, 7.2rpg, 1.7bpg, 47%FG) (14-15: 25mpg, 8.3ppg, 7.5rpg, 1.3bpg, 59%FG). While he has improved in some areas, many wonder if he is worth the $44 million dollar contract he was given last year.

On the other hand, Ersan Ilyasova has openly expressed a desire to be traded. His stats are down across the board, and he doesn't think it's his own fault.

"I've been playing behind some young guys who are playing well, but when you play less minutes, and get less opportunities on the court, of course your numbers are going to take a dip. I just want to play somewhere I can get all the opportunities possible to play my best game" said Ilyasova in a press conference this past week.

Well, only time will tell if the Bucks plan on making any moves. But, I wouldn't be surprised to see a trade sending Ilyasova elsewhere for some younger talent.

                Bucks Dominate LeBron and Cavs

LeBron and the Cavs no match for the Bucks

Cleveland, OH -- One day after trade rumors circulated the Bucks organization, we weren't sure how Milwaukee would fair in their next outing versus LeBron and the Cavaliers. Well, I think we learned one thing about the Bucks, they are here to win.

In their best performance of the season, Milwaukee dominated from start to finish. The Bucks shot tremendously in this game. 60% (59/99) from the field, and 52% (17/33) from three point range. Cleveland's 45% shooting would be no match.

Brandon Knight played his best game of the season as well, scoring 34 and dishing out 10 assists, while only turning the ball over twice. "I was feeling it, and Kyrie couldn't stop me out there. Sometimes you are just overconfident and it backfires, but not tonight" said Knight in the post game press conference.

Milwauke came out hot, leading by 8 heading into the second quarter. A 16-0 run to start the second quarter really put the game out of reach for the Cavs.

LeBron and Irving attempted to claw their way back, but they received little help from their teammates. The third piece in the new "Big 3", Kevin Love, was non-existent, shooting 3-11 from the field and only scoring 6 points.

Milwaukee answered a lot of questions about their mental toughness in this game. Many doubted their fortitude, but after this I don't think there is any doubt left in the minds of the fans.

The Bucks received great contributions off the bench from Bayless who scored a season-high 23 points on 8-11 shooting. Ilyasova, who was involved in trade rumors, played with a chip on his shoulder. In only 17 minutes, he scored 16 points on 5-7 shooting. "I'm here to play, whether it's in Milwaukee, or elsewhere. I just want to play" said Ilyasova after the game.

Milwaukee heads home tomorrow, December 3rd, to take on the Dallas Mavericks (14-5). The game will be aired on TNT at 8:30.

Mavs Make Late Run To Pull Away

Dirk sinks a jumper over Sanders

Milwaukee, WI -- Coming off a huge win over the Cleveland, Milwaukee was riding high heading home to face Dallas.

The game was a down right battle until the last few minutes where Milwaukee couldn't stop Dallas as they ran way with the game.

Early in the game, both teams started out strong; each was shooting over 50% from the field in the first half. Both teams also saw very balanced scoring as each had five players in double figures.

It was back and forth for quite a while, with neither team leading by more than 5 points. The Bucks seemed to have momentum heading into the half, as Jabari Parker drove and slammed it down over Monte Ellis with only 0.1 on the clock. The crowd went wild and the Bucks appeared ready to take control.

Ellis responded with 20 points in the second half, 8 of which came on a 10-0 run late in the fourth quarter. The game was close until this point, when Milwaukee went cold, missing five straight shots. Dallas on the other hand, was quite the opposite. Ellis took over and the Mavs ran way with the win.

The score doesn't do this game justice, as Milwaukee was in it all the way through, but a cold stretch in the fourth doomed them to defeat.

Milwaukee falls to 11-9 after a great 9-1 start, and will stay home and face the Miami Heat (15-3) this Friday, December 5th.

Bucks and Sixers Make Big Time Trade

For most Bucks fans, it comes as no surprise that a trade was in the future. Milwaukee and Philadelphia have inked a deal which will send PF Ersan Ilyasova, G Jerryd Bayless, C Zaza Pachulia and a 2016 1st Round Pick to the Sixers in exchange for PF Nerlens Noel, SG KJ McDaniels and SF Jeremy Grant.

Some experts have questioned the Bucks decision, saying they gave too much. Head coach Jason Kidd had this to say: "We picked up some great young talent in this transaction. We gave up some experience, but we're building for the future, and these are the guys who will help us do that."

The Sixers, who have been stacking up young talent over the past fews years, left their fans scratching their heads a bit. Many wonder why they gave up Noel, a top 10 pick in 2013. We will see if it brings them immediate success.

Milwaukee's motives seemed to mostly revolve around getting rid of Ilyasova. He has a large paycheck and this trade freed up a bit of cap space for the young team.

One question this brings up, is who will back up Brandon Knight at the point guard position? What if he goes down? The Bucks will have to rely on Kendall Marshall and Nick Wolters to rotate in the backup position.

Only time will tell if this trade makes sense, so let's just sit back and enjoy.

                            Bucks Marshall Injured

Milwaukee, WI -- Sad news out of Bucks Nation this week, as backup point guard Kendall Marshall goes down with broken leg. He will miss anywhere from 6-8 weeks. In his place will be Nate Wolters, the third string PG out of South Dakota State University.

When asked about the injury, Marshall had this to say: "Things like this happen. We have a great staff here that will get me back to full health in no-time. Just gotta have faith in my teammates and it'll all work out."

The Bucks head home to take on the Clippers on December 13th. Tune in at 8pm on TNT for the game as the Bucks look to end their four game losing streak.

Knight Scores 33 In Upset Over Clippers

Knight dominated his matchup with Chris Paul

Milwaukee, WI -- After dropping four straight games, Milwaukee had a point to prove. With quite a bit of criticism coming from ESPN Analysts, fans, and management, the players were determined to make a statement.

The Bucks started the season in a big way, going 9-1 through their first ten games. Since the hot start, they've dropped 11 of their next 13 games, being outscored by 13.4 points in those games.

Brandon Knight came out in this one with a chip on his shoulder. He made Chris Paul look like he belonged back in college, putting the moves on, and running the offense to near perfection.

LA wouldn't let it get out of reach, answering early and often, but only maintaining a lead for two minutes of the first quarter.

Milwaukee shot an amazing 62% from the field in the first half, and finished the game at 50%. Their hot shooting mixed with solid team defense allowed them to remain in subtle control of the game.

The hometown fans sure got a show in this one, with a combined 15 dunks. Typically, you see the Clippers on the highlight reel, but not tonight. With the new addition of Nerlens Noel, Larry Sanders now has not only a defensive partner in the paint, but also a high flyer with a knack for highlight slams.

Heading into the second quarter, the Clippers defense began to let up. The lane was wide open on multiple occasions allowing the Bucks to slowly take a commanding lead, which was as high at 17 at one point.

Milwaukee controlled the game for the last three quarters, holding Griffin and CP3 in check, pulling out the 114-100 victory.

"We really needed this win. Our morale has been down a little 'cause were in this slump, but games like this really help get you back on track" said rookie phenom Jabari Parker, who scored 16 points and held his own defending Blake Griffin in the paint.

The Bucks head to the desert to take on the Phoenix Suns who are struggling with a (7-17) record. It is the first meeting between the two this season.
