The Good: Kobe Bryant. After only scoring 9 points through the first three quarters, Kobe Bryant had an old fashioned offense explosion against the Warriors in the 4th quarter. Bryant scored 19 of his 28 in the final period as he led the Lakers to their first win of the season. The Black mamba finished 11-of-22 from the floor with 5 rebounds and 4 assist in 33 minutes.

By The Bad: Stephen Curry. One half of the Splash Brother struggled to find his shot all night against the Lakers. Curry notched a double-double with 22 points and 10 assist, but the sharp shooting point guarded needed 22 shot attempts to get his 22 points. Curry couldn't buy a shot as he missed a few wide open three balls to go 2-of-8 from behind the arc after hitting 43% through the first few games.

X-Factor: Nick Young. Nick Young had his best game of the season off the bench against the Warriors. Swaggy P poured in 22 points on a very effiecient 8-of-11 shooting in 22 minutes for the Lakers. Young was feeling it from down-town as he went 4-of-6 from three and was a game high +19 for the Lakers.

Rookie Watch: Julius Randle. The Lakers top pick in last June's draft continued his impressive rookie campaign with another nice outing off the bench. In 22 minutes, Randle finished with 13 points, 5 rebounds, and a steal while shooting 5-of-8 from the field and 3-of-4 from the free throw line in the Laker victory.

Nuggets hit on all cylinders in double digit win over Lakers

The Good: Kenneth Faried. Kenneth Faried led the way for the Nuggets has he notched a double-double in the win over the Lakers. Faried finished with a team high 23 points on 10-of-14 shooting from the floor in 33 minutes. "The Manimal" also pulled down a team high 11 rebounds with a steal and a block in the Nuggets 6th win of the season.

The Bad: Lakers starting front court. Jordon Hill, Carlos Boozer, and Wes Johnson all liad eggs against the Nuggets. The three front court players combined for 8 points on 3-of-20 shooting combined. Boozer had 6 points on 2-of-8 shooting, Hill finished with 2 points on 1-of-7 shooting, and Johnson went scoreless while missing all seven of his shot attempts.

X-Factor: Randy Foye. Randy Foye's jumper was money against the Lakers had he finished with 17 points and 5 assist in 30 minutes of action. Foye went 6-of-14 from the field and 4-of-11 from behind the arc in the Nuggets victory.

Rookie Watch: Julius Randle and Gary Harris. Julius Randle had his best game of the season putting up 21 points and 10 rebounds on 8-of-13 shooting in 26 minutes off the bench. Gary Harris played 19 minutes off the bench for the Nuggets and finished with 11 points and 3 rebounds on 5-of-7 shooting.

Looks like Kobe is still getting no help. How do you like Lin.For me, his shot is so inconsistent and is a turnover machine in one of my other dynasties.

Kobe's gamewinner lifts Lakers over Pistons

The Good: Kobe Bryant. Kobe Bryant continued his impressive start to the season as he nailed the game winner against the Detroit Pistons. Bryant led the way for the Lakers with a game high 30 points on 8-of-16 shooting from the floor, 4-of-7 shooting from three, and 8-of-12 shooting a the free throw line. The Black Mamba also finished with 4 rebounds and 7 assist in the win.

The Bad: Greg Monroe. Greg Monroe struggled badly against the Lakers as he had a rough night shooting the ball. Monroe finished with a team best 24 points and 12 rebounds in 36 minutes, but the former Georgetown Hoya only shot 8-of-22 from the field in the loss. Even though he couldn't buy a bucket, Monroe continued to shoot all game long as the Lakers fought their way back into the game.

X-Factor: Jordan Hill. Jordan Hill ha the job of guarding Monroe and he did a pretty good job of it. Hill also had a nice game on the offensive end finishing with 10 points and 10 rebounds on 5-of-7 shooting in 30 minutes of action. But his defense was more important then his offense as he made Monroe work for every single point he scored.

Rookie Watch: Julius Randle. Julius Randle continues to steal minutes away from Carlos Boozer and is even starting to close out games with the starters. In 22 minutes off the bench, Randle finished with 16 points, 6 rebounds, and 2 steals while going 7-of-11 from the field fin the victory.

The Good: Rudy Gay. Rudy Gay led the way for the Sacramento Kings has they handed the Los Angeles Lakers their 4th straight loss. Gay finished with a game and team high 24 points with 5 rebounds, 5 assist, 2 steals, and a blocked shot in 33 minutes. Gay filled up the stat sheet in the win as he also shot the ball well going 10-of-14 from the field in the Kings victory.

The Bad: Kobe Bryant. The Black Mamba had a rough night shooting the ball against the Kings denfense. Bryant finished with 20 points but he only shot 9-of-18 from the field in 31 minutes. Not really bad shooting numbers but the degree of difficulty is what got Bryant in trouble and his lack of effort on the defensive end as he finished the night a -13 for the Lakers.

X-Factor: Ben McLemore. The 2nd year shooting guard out of Kansas got the best of Bryant in their matchup. McLemore put up 18 points with 2 rebounds on an efficient 7-of-13 shooting from the field in 28 minutes for the Kings. McLemore's numbers are up across the board from his rookie campaign.

Rookie Watch: Julius Randle and Nik Stauskas. Randle finished with 15 points and 8 rebounds on 6-of-11 shooting in 20 minutes off the bench for the Lakers. Stauskas played 15 minutes off the King bench and scored 10 points with 4 turnovers on 3-of-8 shooting for the Kings.

The Good: Nixk Young. Nick Young led the way for the Lakers in their 111-105 win over the Thunder. Swaggy P poured in a season high 28 points in 27 minutes against Oklahoma City. Young shot the ball well finishing 11-of-17 from the field, 4-of-7 from behind the arc, and a perfect 2-of-2 from the charity stripe with 3 rebounds and a blocked shot. Young was a +21 for the Lakers as they snapped their 7-game losing streak.

The Bad: Russell Westbrook. Russell Westbrook was a complete non-factor against the Lakers. Westbrook scored a season low 4 points on 2-of-11 shooting in 33 minutes of action. The lone bright spot for Westbrook was his 11 rebounds and 11 assist but the Thunder needed the attacking and scoring Westbrook but he failed to show up.

X-Factor: Kobe Bryant. The Black Mamba had a quiet night but he did notch his first tripe-double of the season in the win. Bryant finished with 17 points, 10 rebounds, and 11 assist with just 2 turnovers in 33 minutes for the Lakers. Bryant shot 7-of-17 from the field and 3-of-6 from three in the win.

Rookie Watch: Julius Randle. Rokkie Julius Randle held his own up against the defensive minded Serge Ibaka. Randle collected another double-double finishing ith 16 points and 14 rebounds in 27 minutes off the bench. The 7th overall pick was a +23 as he went 6-of-11 from the field and 3-of-5 from the free throw line.
