CONFERENCE WINNER: Northern Colorado

Northern Colorado, as of now, is the #4 team in the Mid-Major power rankings and it comes to no surprise as the Bears are undefeated.

Justifying the ranking:
The Bears get production from just about every player on their roster, a lot of them are capable starters as well. All in all this team has proved a lot early in this season as they knocked off big time schools like Stanford, Oregon State, DePaul, and Iowa State -- wins that all came on the road.

Kris Wells leads the Bears and he hasn't been stopped very often in Northern Colorado's eight games this season. The sophomore guard is averaging a conference best 22.3 points that by far leads Mose Osborn who comes in second with 14.6 a game. Wells however isn't the entire team, Tyler Manilow leads the team as the floor general while forward Clement Garner can snap off quite often. Freshman Luol Diaz has been big as well as he averages 10 points, 6.5 rebounds, and a conference high of 2.8 blocks.
