I try to stay true to self imposed rules. With my current team I force myself to also recruit 2 star players. I will always try my best to run my primary offense and defense as they’re intended to be run.

    Backstory

After playing four seasons at Western Michigan University and seven seasons in the NBA, Coach Corey Haas found himself at the helm of Fairleigh Dickinson University’s basketball team at 28 years old. Coach Haas, now 35, and in his 8th year as Head Coach of the Knights has lead them to three NIT bids as well as four NCAA tournament bids. Going as far as the Sweet 16 in his second year. He also has seven regular season Northeast Conference titles to go with four Northeast Conference Tournament Titles. Here is his philosophy in his own words.

    Offensive Philosophy

To some extent it’s my own, but I have taken from a lot of my influences - more so later on. Those include Pete Carril, Jerry Tarkanian, John Wooden, Coach K, Bob Knight Nolan Richardson, and Phil Jackson. To some extent we now use multiple offenses in one. That however makes it sound more complex than it is. For example, I feature a couple plays out of the UCLA High Post but don’t incorporate the entire offense. (Same goes for Triangle, Read&React, ISO, Fast break, and 1-4 High Stack) They're all also either related or share some of the same principles. When I first got here we ran only Princeton, and at our base that’s most of our offense. Though over my tenure here we've transitioned to more of a 3-2 Motion offense. We've also began to incorporate more ISO’s and fast breaks since having some success in recruiting.

At our core we're more of a lower possession/scoring, good ball movement, inside out, screens, backdoor cuts, few drives to draw fouls and get to the free throw line. More talent here has allowed me to be a bit more versatile. When I first got here I wanted low scoring, ugly, defensive type of games. It was our only chance. For the most part that’s how we try to play.

    Defensive Philosophy

That brings me to defense. When I first got here I wanted to win with defense and athleticism. So that’s what I recruited. Until I got recruits here we started with 2-3 zone. Years 2-4 I started bringing in other zone defenses. We went mostly 2-3/2-1-2 zone, as well as 1-3-1 zone and 1-3-1 match up zone. In small doses I tried a 1-2-2 zone. I got some good results, mostly mixed, and the 1-3-1 match up zone was just an absolute disaster for some reason. It was only used in year two. Year 5 we started with just 2-3/2-1-2 zone but we started horrid on defense. I tried 3-2 zone, 1-2-2 zone and 1-1-3 zone. I featured small doses of man to man. Ultimately I ended up playing mostly 1-2-2 with the 3-2 zone as my secondary defense. Year 6-7 I transitioned back into 2-3 zone mostly. With some 1-3-1, 2-3 match up as well as 3-2 zone and 1-2-2 zone. The latter three were used sparingly. Now in year 8 we run mostly a 2-3 zone or amoeba/2-3 match up zone defense with occasional man to man if the 2-3 isn’t working well.

    Recruiting Philosophy

I go for mostly defense and athletes, but I also look for size and versatility. I try to keep a couple shooters on the team but we’ve never had a real good three point shooting team statistically.

Currently in my 8th Year (I'll recap previous years of course)

        Season 8: 2021-2022

        Van Macon (41 years old)

        Overall: C+
        Offense: B+

        Offense: Hybrid Princeton/Motion

We'll feature less stack offense this season and more triangle. But at least 90% of our offense will be Princeton/Motion. We only have a 10 man rotation this season so I'll also be toning down fast break a bit.

        Defense: 2-3 Zone/Amoeba/Man to Man

We'll play hopefully 90% 2-3 Zone, but Amoeba will be used probably every game. Man to man sparingly. 1-3-1 and 1-2-2 zones may be used at some point here and there to change things up. Seeing as we only have a 10 man rotation we can't play as aggressive as we have last couple years. Last season we had a 12 man rotation, deep at every position.

        Roster

        #1 - G/F - Chadd Lettenberger (81 overall)
        SR - 6'7" 229lbs - Baltimore, MD
        Last Season: 10.9ppg, 3.4rpg, 1.2spg
(Started 92 games in his career)

Plays SG/SF mostly but has played PG & PF before. Had a great freshman year, had a sophomore slump, rebounded greatly last season. Best player on the team. Can drive, shoot the 3 (second best on team with 84 rating), and even defend. Four Star recruit out of high school.
        ---------------

        #31 - G - Bassirou Cole (79 overall)
        SO - 6'4" 193lbs - Vineland, NJ
        Last Season: 9.5ppg, 2.8rpg, 3.7apg, 2.2spg

Played PG his entire freshman year. Right from the get go I saw this kid was going to be something special. He's better at SG so in his sophomore year he'll be playing both guard spots. Maybe even SF at times. Quite possibly the best ball handler, passer, driver on the team. Goes to the free throw line a lot. He's taken over games in his freshman year, probably will in his second year. Very athletic, probably best on ball defender on the team. He can do it all really. Four Star recruit out of high school.
        ----------------

        #34 - C - Bahaadar Abdur-Rahim (78 overall)
        SR - 7'4" 319lbs - Nigeria, Africa
        Last Season: 9.9ppg, 9.1rpg, 2.1bpg

I didn't think I would have him more than two seasons at most. He's never really been a huge part of my offense. His sophomore year was better than his junior year statistically. But he's my only center. I have a 6'11" SF, but my other PF's are only 6'7"-6'8". He, along with Lettenberger and Cole, will be my big three. They'll be playing the most minutes. Three star recruit out of Africa (my only world recruit to date)
        ----------------

        #3 - G - Chauncey Caporn (76 overall)
        JR - 5'11" 168lbs - Austin, TX
        Last Season: 1.5ppg, 1.1apg

His PPG and APG were both higher in his freshman year. We didn't need his scoring so much last year. He played only PG his first two years. He, like Cole, is better at SG. So he'll play 1G & 2G as well. I've never had many true PGs. I've played mostly two SGs since being here so I won't have any issues. Three Star recruit out of high school.
        ----------------

        #0 - G/F - Jerrold Lhota (75 overall)
        SR - 6'6" 209lbs - Richmond, CA
        Last Season: 4.5ppg, 1.0rpg, 1.0apg

His freshman year he was probably the worst player on the team overall wise. But he had to play out of position at PG. Still averaged 2.1 APG. His sophomore year he played 2G (SG) and SF. He averaged career high 5.3ppg. His numbers and minutes dipped his junior year. We were a bit crammed last year. He'll be getting career high minutes. May even start games. Three star recruit out of high school.
        ----------------

        #25 - F - Garland Watts (74 overall)
        SR - 6'11" 262lbs - Jacksonville, FL
        Last Season: 4.3ppg, 1.9rpg

Like with Lhota and Caporn, his role diminished a bit last season. His FR numbers were better. He'll be getting career high minutes as well. (Most of my team will). He can score from anywhere on the floor but by far the weakest defender. We got him out of JUCO where he played center. He's best suited at SF, but he'll also play PF and C. He might actually be my best inside scorer. His freshman year (5.4ppg, 3.0rpg) was highlighted by a couple games where he came in and took over and carried us to a win. He can go off any night. (as can Lhota and Caporn. My entire roster except the freshman have at some point carried us to a win or at the very least hit big shots at some point in their careers). Three Star recruit out of JUCO.
        ------------------

        #10 - F/C - Timmy Hairston (73 overall)
        FR - 6'7" 22lbs - Trenton, NJ
        Four Star Recruit

He may start some games. He's one of the better three point shooters on the team. I was hoping he'd grow an inch or two. He'll play PF and center mostly. Occasionally he'll play wing but he's better at the 4 or 5.
        -------------------

        #24 - F - Kendrick Gomes (72 overall)
        SR - 6'7" 264lbs - Dallas, TX
        Last Season: 1.2ppg, 1.3rpg

He was brought in as the future after Wyatt. Didn't turn out that way. Averaged 2.0ppg and 1.7rpg his FR year but his stats/minutes went down ever year after that. He'll get career high minutes. Can score from anywhere. Almost transferred but decided to stay. I hope he feels rewarded after this year. He may start at some point. Outside of my big three, the other two positions are toss ups. Three Star recruit out of high school.
        ----------------

        #2 - F - Ed Badu (71 overall)
        SR - 6'8" 269lbs - Berkley, CA
        Last Season: 2.4ppg, 1.7rpg

Along with Kendrick Gomes, he was brought here as the future after Wyatt. It hasn't panned out that way, but he put up career numbers last year. And will probably outdo them this year. May start. Quite possibly might be my backup center. Three Star recruit out of high school.
        -----------------

        #32 - F - Bob Smalls (71 overall)
        SR - 6'7" 224lbs - San Antonio, TX
        Last Season: 2.2ppg, 1.4rpg

Another guy who didn't quite pan out how I expected. Career high PPG & RPG last season. Will also probably play more minutes with my 10 man rotation. Can score from anywhere. Best at SF, but if he can hold his own at PF he may get more playing time. Three Star Recruit out of high School. Might start a game. I don't have full time starters figured out yet. I won't until conference play really gets going.

(Reminds me I forgot to list Dean Smith as an influence. I was watching UNC @ Duke - I'm actually a huge Duke fan in real life - from 1991 on YouTube last night and Dickie V I believe mentioned Dean Smith not having a set 8 man rotation until conference play. Hence the reminder lol)
        ----

        #11 - G - Tahric Dalgarn (72 overall)
        FR - 6'3" 178lbs - Brooklyn, NY
        Three Star Recruit
        Redshirt This Year

He won't be playing this season, but he's gonna have a bright future here. He's already the best three point shooter (86 rating) on the team. As of right now he's a pure jump shooter. He's really the first pure shooter I've ever had on this team. He's gotta work on his ball handling skills though. Should improve his passing skills as well.

        #12 - F - Mohamed Higgins (71 overall)
        FR - 6'8" 228lbs - New York, NY
        Three Star Recruit
        Redshirt this year

He also won't be playing this year. He has a bit more potential than Dalgarn. Can score from anywhere but he'll primarily play inside. I'm sure at some point he may be playing some center but I'll look to keep him at the 4. Decent on ball defender, even better post defender. Very good at blocking shots. Pretty good athlete but not a great one. Should also have a pretty bright future.

(I'm nine games into Season 8 so far)

            vs Columbia

            Cole/Lhota/Lettenberger/Watts/Rahim

That was the starting five. We trailed at halftime, really struggled shooting all game (33%). But we only held them to 19 points in the second half. (27% total FG). Freshman Hairston was huge for us off the bench hitting 2/4 from deep.

            Cole: 10pts, 6rbs, 7asts (4/13 FG)
            Lettenberger: 11pts, 4 rbs (5/18 FG)
            Rahim: 10pts, 14 rbs, 5blks (3/10 FG)
            Hairston: 13pts, 4rbs (5/9 FG)
            --------

            vs Army

same starting line up. It was never really close, which I was happy about. We got blown out at Army last year. I wanted some revenge. I'm 3-2 vs Army in my career, I'm strongly considering them as a rival. (Navy as well)

            Cole: 17pts, 9rebs, 8 asts, 3 stls (6/10 FG)
            Lettenberger: 13pts, 5 rbs (5/11 FG)
            Abdur-Rahim: 23pts, 15rebs, 2 blks (10/17 FG)
            --------

            at Vermont

This game was ugly for us. We trailed 24-13 at halftime. We couldn't buy a shot. We did much better in the second half but ran out of steam trying to make the comeback. Vermont had a kid I tried recruiting. 6'6" guard. He's a senior now, career average of 23.6ppg, he went 8/15 FG, 4/7 3pt for 24 points. Killed us.

            Lettenberger: 10pts, 9rebs (5/15 FG)
            Abdur-Rahim: 16pts, 11rebs (7/10 FG)
            -----------

            at UConn

            Cole/Lettenberger/Smalls/Hairston/Rahim

Didn't think I would stand a chance, but we were on fire all game. 32/58 FG, 8/15 3pt, 19/27 FT as a team. We led by 15 at halftime and controlled most the game.

            Cole: 16pts (3/7 FG)
            Lettenberger: 13pts, 5rebs,5asts (5/11 FG)
            Abdur-Rahim: 19pts, 4rebs, 3 blks (fouled out)
            Caporn: 18pts, 3 rebs (6/8FG, 5/7 3pt)
            ----------

We trailed at halftime 40-38. Our defense was very poor in the first half but tightened up greatly in the second half. Our offense wasn't in sync like at UConn, but Cole helped put the team on his back getting to the FT line and Lettenberger also carried the team getting to the basket. Only shot 2/14 from deep but 24/3` FTs. (as a team)

            Cole: 22pts, 4rebs (4/13 FG, 14/16 FT)
            Lettenberger: 23pts, 6 rebs (9/14 FG)

Despite their poor record at the time, this was a dog fight. It's been a trend since I got here that we struggle on the road. No matter how good we are. ONe year i lost back to back games to teams with a combined 4-14 record. Then almost lost to an 0-9 team the next game.

This game was tied at halftime, we really struggled to score all game. We shot a mere 29% total FG.

            Cole/Lettenberger (Combined): 16pts, 8 rebs, 4 asts, 3 stls

I LOVED playing this game. It was back and forth almost all game. It came right down to the end. ANd statistically, it turned out greatly. Cole took the most shots and shot very poorly. However, he made the game winning lay up with 1.9 left. LIU would turn it over on the inbounds by throwing it out of bounds. Cole then hit two FTs to for sure seal the deal for us.

            Cole: 19pts, 5rebs, 9 asts, 6stls, 5 to's (6/20 FG)
            Lettenberger: 15pts, 4 rebs (5/7 FG)

Fairleigh Dickinson (8-1) at Cincinnati (5-4)

Their record is pretty deceiving. Their stats are also eerily similar to ours They have a solid starting lineup, including an stud freshman (81 overall). They're a post team scoring down low 46.1% of the time and only 22.4% three point shots. It'll be an interesting match up verses our 2-3 zone. They play mostly man to man defense with 2-3 match up. Their center is their leading scorer at 17.7ppg.

Abdur-Rahim picked up his second foul less than three minutes into the game. Forcing me to bench him, Cincinnati was able to control most of the first half. The game would get pretty defensive minded part way through. We were finally able to tie it 24-24 with 2:25 left until halftime. C. Lettenberger and B. Cole carried the offensive load throughout the first half. We led 32-29 at halftime. We shot 45%, 1/7 3pt and they shot 37% and 2/9 from 3pt. C. Lettenberger had 11 points, and B. Cole had eight points. We're 9/12 FTs, but we need to get to the line more. Once again we're not hitting our threes, no need to continue to shoot them at this rate. It made me confident doing well with Abdur-Rahim only playing 6 minutes.

After trailing most of the half, we cut it to 68-64. We started fouling with 41 seconds to go. They ended up turning it over (off their leg) out of bounds. B. Cole woul take a three but it would rim out. That would end up being the deciding factor as we lost 72-70. Our defense just collapsed down the stretch. Abdur-Rahim being in foul trouble killed us in the end. We also went just 12/17 from FT line. They didn't kill us from deep (20%) but they shot 50% overall. THey went 17/23 from the FT line. We got killed on the boards (33-22) and in the paint (34-22). I have no backup plan at center height wise. They shot 38% in the first half, but in the second half they shot 64%. (1/6 3pt). I should have switched defense but we played 2-3 zone the entire game. Maybe switching defense with Abdur-Rahim on the bench would help us. One positive is we shot 45% from deep (5/11) in the second half.

                  B. Cole: 15pts, 3 asts, 3stls (4/12 FG)
                  C. Lettenberger: 17pts, 3 asts (7/14 FG)
                  G. Watts: 12 pts, 3 asts (4/5 FG)
                  Abdur-Rahim: 5pts, 7rebs, 4 stls,2 blks (2/7 FG) (4 fouls)

Fairleigh Dickinson (8-2) vs Princeton (6-7)

This is gonna be another battle down low. They score down there 47% of the time. If Abdur-Rahim gets into foul trouble, I'll look at switching defenses. They haven't beaten any good teams record wise. They did defeat C. Connecticut 75-49 a week ago. We're usually a much better team at home. Their center M. Pittman averages 20.8ppg. He's also 7'2". THeir PG A. Cesar is second on the team with 11.2ppg. If we can get Pittman into foul trouble early, I really like our odds.

We started off very poorly. They went up 9-2 to start the game, but we rebounded. Abdur-Rahim picked up his second foul with 10 minutes to go. A couple minutes after that B. Cole hurt his knee. It turned out to be a sprain. That's devistating - especially with #2 UNLV coming up next. He'd return, but Princeton would lead 32-28 at halftime. Abdur-Rahim woul comeback in and help us stay within striking distance. He had 11pts, 3rebs and 5blks in the first half. Their SF killed us the entire half. We went 4/12 from deep and only 2/6 FTs. Have to change both of those. We only shot 32% from the field. Princeton shot 45%. We won't win if we don't step up defensively. THey're killing us down low.

It took a whole 1 minute to go down 10 points. And that's where we stayed most the game until the end when we lost 68-56. We didn't fix anything in the second half. They shot 48% from the field and we shot only 29%.

                    Lhota: 9 points (3/4 3pt)
                    Abdur-Rahim: 25 points, 11 rebounds, 5 blocks (9/14 FG, 7/8 FT)
                    Cole/Lettenberger (Combined): 12pts, 6rebs, 9asts,3stls (4/23 FG, 3/10 3pt)

                    Up Next: @ #2 UNLV (8-0)

                      Fairleigh Dickinson (8-3) at #3 UNLV (10-0)

Neither team really shot well at all the first half. We were a hair better at 41% to their 40%. We trailed by a couple baskets at halftime, we were pretty lucky to be down that. Abdur-Rahim had 12 points and 8 rebounds in the first half and was the only reason we were close.

We trailed by 8-12 almost the entire second half. Finally we made a run with a minute or so to go. Chadd Lettenberger hit a three to put us down 65-61. He then had a steal and dunk. UNLV then had a boneheaded turnover which lead to Lettenberger getting fouled on a shot. He only hit one free throw with 54.3 seconds to go. They would get their shot blocked by Abdur-Rahim, which would set up an opportunity for us to steal a big game. I called timeout and set up a play for Lettenberger. Which allowed him to get a decent 8-10 foot jumper from the wing. However he would miss it and UNLV would get the 65-64 win.

We couldn't hit a three nearly all game going 2/15. We only shot 35%, where as they shot 47% (4/17 3pt). The big difference was in free throws as they went 15/20 to our 10/19. We have to improve our FT shooting. We dominated down low, however, because we had arguably their best player, a 7'1" center in foul trouble the entire game.

Fairleigh Dickinson (8-4) vs American (4-5)

This is a must win for us. We can't go into conference play on a losing streak like this. It could make a long year for us.

We really, really struggled shooting. Mostly because we settled and fell in love for the jump shot. We trailed 27-23 at halftime - at home. We shot 24% and a horrid 3/15 from deep. Luckily we held them to 34% shooting (3/9 from deep).

We spent nearly the entire half trying to catch up. We were playing pathetic, yet managed to stay within 10 points. We were down 59-52, less than two minutes to go. We looked lost....and then managed to start making everything while getting defensive stops. Abdur-Rahim got a put back dunk and was fouled. It was 59-57, American on top. He would miss the free throw but the freshman Timmy Hairston grabbed the rebound. He got the ball to Chadd Lettenberger who drained a three from straight on to give us the 60-59 lead with 39.8 seconds left. Our first lead of the entire game. They would miss a shot, leading to a Abdur-Rahim rebound. Lhota would end up on the FT and sink two to put us up 62-59 with 3.3 seconds to go. American would miss the game tying three.

We had absolutely no business winning this game. We stole this win. We shot 34% from the field (7/25 3pt) all game. But we dominated the offensive rebounds 15-4. Both teams combined for just eight turnovers all game. I would like to see us cause more, but I can't complain with our lack of turnovers.

This game was never close. J. Lhota was just on fire all first half. The entire team was - especially from deep. We shot 48% and went 10/16 from three. They went 5/23 (21%) from the floor in the first half. We led 52-15. Lhota went 5/6 of deep and scored 21 points in the first half alone. We would go on to win 93-39.

                          C. Lettenberger: 13 points, 5 rebounds (3/3 3pt)
                          J. Lhota: 25 points (5/7 3pt)

                          We went 15/29 from deep.

                          -------------------------

                          Fairleigh Dickinson (10-4, 3-0) at C. Connecticut (4-9, 1-1)

                          G: B. Cole (100% healthy)
                          G: C. Lettenberger
                          F: G. Watts
                          F: E. Badu
                          C: B. Abdur-Rahim

This game was never in question. We led by 15 early and kept it at that distance most the game. We went on to win 88-72. We went 15/38 from deep they only shot 11/38 from deep.

                          J. Lhota: 12 points (2/9 3pt)
                          C. Lettenberger: 22 points, 4 rebounds (5/10 3pt)
                          G. Watts: 11 points, 4 rebounds (3/6 3pt)
                          B. Abdur-Rahim: 2 points, 12 rebounds, 2 blocks (1/8 FG)
                          B. Cole: 7 points, 6 rebounds, 12 assists (2/6 FG)
                          B. Smalls: 10 points, 4 rebounds (2/3 3pt)

We got a lot of people involved. Even though Cole didn't shoot well, he didn't force many shots this game and pretty much did it all. Good to have him healthy again. This kid is gonna be something special one day.
                          ---------------

                          Fairleigh Dickinson (11-4, 4-0) at Wagner (6-11, 3-1)

It would be back and forth all first half. It looked like we were going to have to pull one out at the end or lose again on the road. Wagner would manage to have a 31-30 halftime lead. We would step it up defensively in the second half and cruise to a 71-55 win. We out rebounded them 42-23, with a 15-3 offensive rebound advantage and a 36-18 points in the paint advantage.

                          B. Cole: 26 points, 5 rebounds (4/5 3pt)
                          C. Lettenberger: 11 points, 4 assists (3/6 3pt)
                          B. Abdur-Rahim: 20 points, 16 rebounds, 4 steals (8/15 FG)

Good to see Cole have a good scoring game again. As well as Abdur-Rahim finally getting out of his slump.

Fairleigh Dickinson (12-4, 5-0) vs St. Francis (PA) (3-11, 2-3)

Another game we controlled from tip to the buzzer sounded. We shot 47% in the first half (8/20 3pt) and led 55-28. We went on to win the game handily 82-64.

                            B. Cole: 15 points, 9 rebounds, 5 assists (4/9 FG, 3/4 3pt)
                            C. Lettenberger: 15 points, 4 steals (5/17 FG, 2/10 3pt)

Fairleigh Dickinson (13-4, 6-0) at St. Francis (NY) (5-12, 3-3)

This game was never close. We went on to win 80-52. We shot 46% from the field and they only shot 37%.

                            C. Lettenberger: 19 points (6/10 FG)
                            J. Lhota: 17 points, 4 assists (7/11 FG)
                            -------------------------

                            Fairleigh Dickinson (14-4, 7-0) vs Central Connecticut (7-11, 4-3)

We definitely came into this game far over confident. We struggled to score all half, and we struggled to stop them from scoring. We trailed by 17 at one point but cut it to 37-25 at halftime. We were 1/10 from deep and shot 27% FG. Central Connecticut shot 51%. Lettenberger and Watts shot a combined 2/12. B. Cole had 11 points (3/8 FG) and had four rebounds.

Second half was far more competitive, but Central Connecticut had lead from the opening tip so we had to play catch up. We would crawl all the way back to tie it and then finally we would get a 55-54 lead after a Lhota three with 3:00 to go. We would then hold on and lead 64-62 with 16 seconds to go. Their star player, and leading scorer, McMillan would go for the win but it would rim out.

                            C. McMillan: 25 points (9/19 FG, 4/10 3pt)

                            B. Cole: 19 points, 6 rebounds, 6 assists (5/12 FG)
                            J. Lhota: 13 points (5/11 FG)

                            (9-5 vs Central Connecticut)
                            ---------------------------

                            Fairleigh Dickinson (15-4, 8-0) vs Quinnipiac (4-14, 0-7)

We went back and forth all first half. They shot 46% (6/13 3pt) to our 40% (4/9 3pt) and they would use that to get a 37-36 lead at the break. We stepped up defensively. We would focus on their only weapon and shut him down en route to a 76-58 win.

                            B. Cole: 17 points, 6 rebounds, 7 assists (5/15 FG)
                            C. Lettenberger: 19 points (8/16 FG, 1/6 3pt)
                            B. Abdur-Rahim: 12 points, 11 rebounds, 3 blocks (4/9 FG)
                            J. Lhota: 10 points (2/4 3pt)
                            -----------------------------

Fairleigh Dickinson (16-4, 9-0) at Saint Francis (PA) (5-13, 4-5)

We led by 10 almost the entire first half, and would extend it to 15 for most the second half. We'd go on to win 75-54. We killed them on the boards and forced them to only shoot 33%. We out rebounded them 45-24, and 19 offensive boards to 5. We nearly doubled them in points in the paint (30-16).

                            B. Cole: 12 points, 8 rebounds, 12 assists, 3 steals, 6 turnovers (4/17 FG, 0/2 3pt)
                            J. Lhota: 26 points (11/16 FG, 4/6 3pt)
                            B. Abdur-Rahim: 12 points, 14 rebounds, 5 blocks (6/10 FG)
