Lakers GM Rob Pelinka Announces The Lakers Most Recent Transaction The Signing Of 79ovr Soon To-Be 39 Year Old SG Kobe Bryant(Copied Over From 2k16) To a 2 Year 10 Million Dollar Contract.
Kobe Bryant On His Return To The NBA, and The Los Angeles Lakers After a Brief One Year Retirement, "I Couldn't Stay Retired. It Just Wasn't For Me. I Love The Game. I Wanted To Sign a Cap Friendly Deal To Give Us a Chance To Bring In More Talent Either Through Free Agency Or Trades. Our GM(Rob Pelinka) Told Me Were Not Done Building This Roster, and He Wants My Input On The Rest Of Our Off-Season Moves. I Think You'll Be Pleasantly Surprised With The Moves We Make, and The Roster We Put On The Court For My First Year Back. Each Team Will Protect 8-9 Players On Their Current Roster The Remaining Players Will Be Placed Into a Draft Pool The Sonics Can Choose From For Their 2017-2018 Roster.
Lakers Coach Luke Walton(26-56) Spoke To The Media About The Return Of The Black Mamba Kobe Bryant, and The Seattle Super Sonics.
"Kobe Gives Us That Fighter Mentality We Need To Get Back Into The Playoffs & Possibly Go Further. As He Stated Were Not Done Building Our Current Roster, Were Going To Make Some Trades That Upgrade The Overall Talent From Our Starting 5 To Our 6th, 7th, and 8th Man Off The Bench. We Wont Be Making Any Deals Until We See What Our Roster Looks Like After The Expansion Draft. I Know Everyone Wants To Know What Players Were Putting In The Draft Pool, and Which One's Were Keeping. Obviously Kobe, Lonzo Ball, Brandon Ingram, Guys Like That Are Going To Be Protected. We Wont Protect Luol Deng & Cory Brewer Due To Their High Contract Numbers.
