While I am clearly aware that this is a dynasty headquarters for the basketball storylines in MyLeague that we love to follow,
I have decided to completely shift up this scene and start a different dynasty, the OVO dynasty - OperationSports Very Own MyTeam, which will have me, a complete MyTeam novice, trying to build a different type of a dynasty along with your help.

If you have any ideas, inputs or anything, let me know, as I want to leave this all in the hand of the readers! Now, let's get this started!

Not a bad question.

I've tried different MyLeagues for quite some time now, and while I do enjoy them, lately, they just have been rather...well, the same, to be honest. My passion fades out rather quickly to them, and while they do look nice, I just don't have the will to go on with them.

I've been a big fan of FIFA and their Ultimate Team - played it for years. While obviously, it isn't a perfect game mode, it is still intriguing - building your own team, collecting players, and most importantly, facing others online. My passion for FIFA has been for ages, but for UT, I've been playing it since FIFA 12 days.

MyTeam seems like a big mode in NBA, but I have never actually given it a conscious effort. I have tried it a game or two, but really never caught the "bug" to play it - I've always stuck to MyLeague.

I love the writing part of this forum and the passion that people have in this forum to write riveting tales and storylines with both fictional and real-life players/teams. So, I decided to kill two birds with one stone - starting a MyTeam and posting every(well, not quite, but you will see that in a second) step of the way on this forum. I want this to be an interactive thing, with you guys giving me all the feedback and suggestions since quite frankly, I don't know too much about MyTeam. This is legitimately the first 2K MyTeam that I have properly tried.

Now, on to the MyTeam itself. If you read the text in small brackets below, you already know that I am lying to you. So, how much of this years MyTeam have I played?

I've completed the Warm Up, Bronze and Silver goals.
I have done the ranking games for Super Max and a game in one of the tiers (calibrated at Sapphire -> dropped to Emerald).
I have played ONE Domination game (ever).
I have played ONE Schedule game.
I haven't designed the Jerseys nor the Arena (help, ideas please!)
And my collection is rather poor, putting it lightly.

Here is the lineup that I am rocking with currently.

As you can see, it is not that great - but that is why I am doing this. I want to have a proper MyTeam experience, involving you guys, since honestly, I don't know what I am doing here! I keep constantly wondering what playbook to have, what players to go for, what collections to go for, how to design my uniforms and what to actually do!

This will (hopefully) be a long project, with us collecting a ton of players and me not making the Operation Sports brand look too bad. Again, if you have ideas about anything, let me know. Even I am going along with all of this at the same time, so I don't know what is right or wrong!

Next post will be on Monday, as I hope to give you the first taste of things and show you some of the things I did this weekend in NBA.
