Thanks man, I'm happy with the team's play so far. I'm just really surprised by the sims lol these guys are getting it done and stringing a ton of wins together. I think up until what I have posted I'm like 10-5 in user played games, and that's with 6 straight wins over some mid to low tier teams lmao so I'm happy with the balance so far. Conley is going to be very important in the postseason for me, especially with how these lower seeds and turning out. I have some big updates coming here soon as I've played ahead of my posting, planning on some league-wide posts

Mitchell is so easy to use lol it's kinda ridiculous. With how great his playmaking has been he's making a great case for being the point guard in the long-term. Go bigger at the two guard for defense. But yeah Gobert feasted that game, I'm surprised he bullied Bam the way he did inside. I've been trying to feed him all season but most teams have been guarding the PNR so well and making Conley or Mitchell or whomever take the middie or the three. They take Rudy out of it pretty well lol but he dominated the Heat of all teams. If he keeps playing this well my team could be dangerous in the playoffs

Gobert Dominates Indiana, Putting Up 20 and 22

      January 20th, 2020

Utah is back to its winning ways after a brief speed bump against the Pelicans last week, as they grab their 2nd straight win tonight against the Indiana Pacers. Rudy Gobert was phenomenal all night, finishing with 20 points and 22 rebounds, as well as 2 blocks. With Myles Turner and Domantas Sabonis both struggling to match his physicality, Gobert took the game over early and was a constant nightmare for Indiana to deal with all night.

Jordan Clarkson and Emmanuel Mudiay both had great games as well, as they finished with 17 points and 14 points, respectively. Mudiay started for Mike Conley, who got banged up last week with a lower back bruise, and he added 6 rebounds and 6 assists in 24 minutes as well.

Donovan Mitchell recorded his first career triple-double, as he finished with 12 points, 10 rebounds, and 13 assists while running the show in Conley's absence. Mitchell shot just 5-17 from the floor and 2-11 from three, but he was still very effective in his playmaking and defense. Utah improves to 32-11 on the season, while the Pacers slip to just 19-25 as they continue to struggle.

Harden Frustrated With Russ As Jazz Escape With A W

        January 27th, 2020

In an incredibly tight fourth quarter, James Harden took just 3 total shots in the entire final period for the Houston Rockets, while Russell Westbrook took shot after shot after shot. Harden was visibly frustrated with his fellow guard, particularly when Westbrook jacked up a three down 5 to the Jazz with 1:40 remaining. Considering Houston's record (17-29 after the loss), it's very evident that the trade for Russell Westbrook has gone sour; but, he's talented enough of a player that Houston has to at least give him a chance to turn it around.

Utah got great production out of their starters in this game, particularly from the returning Bojan Bogdanovic, who came back in the loss against Dallas Friday night. Bogey had 26 points and 8 rebounds on the night, while shooting a blistering hot 6-9 from three-point land. Donovan Mitchell was great as usual, posting 29 points, 5 rebounds, and 11 assists with just 2 turnovers. Rudy Gobert had another 20 point night, while also adding 13 rebounds and 3 assists. Mike Conley also had a double-double with 12 points and 10 assists.

Utah keeps building on a strong season, as they are the #1 team in the West with a 33-13 record, while Houston continues to disappoint, falling to just 17-29 on the year.

Lillard, Blazers Cool Down the Jazz 116-97

          February 7th, 2020

Damian Lillard and CJ McCollum showed up to play tonight against the Jazz, who were without star big man Rudy Gobert. They combined for 51 points on the night, as well as 15 rebounds and 17 assists.

Gobert, who got banged up the last game against Denver with a bruised hip, was not available this game as the Jazz sat him out for cautionary purposes.. Starting in Gobert's place was Tony Bradley, who had just 4 points and 5 rebounds in 20 minutes. Ed Davis and Juwan Morgan also played center minutes and were slightly more productive. Morgan continues to impress the Jazz staff with his solid play in his rookie season.

Donovan Mitchell added 26 points for the Jazz as he continues his All-Star campaign; he's averaging a career-high 26.2 points per game this season.

Utah slips to 36-15 on the season as the All-Star Break is approaching. Portland improves to 28-25 on the year as they fight to stay in the playoff race in a tight Western Conference.

O'Neale Scores Career-High 24 in Win Over Mavs

            February 10th, 2020

Third year pro Royce O'Neale had a career night for the Jazz in a win over the Dallas Mavericks, as he scored a career-high 24 points off of 9-20 shooting. O'Neale was almost a focal point for the Jazz offense tonight as they played a banged-up Mavericks roster that was without Kristaps Porzingis and Dorian Finney-Smith.

Donovan Mitchell had another stellar game, putting up 30 points, 5 rebounds, and 5 assists in the victory. It was a well-rounded effort for the Jazz, as 4 others were in double-figures for Utah, with Conley, Bogdanovic, Clarkson, and Gobert all scoring double-digits. Conley had an exceptional 16 points and 15 assists on the evening.

Utah keeps on winning, improving their record to 38-15, while Dallas falls to 28-26 with their playoff hopes hanging on the thread of a Porzingis return.

              February 13th, 2020

For the first time in over a decade, the Utah Jazz are the top dog out West at the All-Star Break. Utah leads the conference with a 39-15 record, which is the best in the entire NBA, and their play as of late suggests that they will not be slowing down. Donovan Mitchell has thrust himself into the MVP conversation, as he's averaging 26 PPG, 4.7 RPG, 6.2 APG, and 1.4 SPG while shooting 47.5/37.2/90.3 shooting splits. He has been tremendous, and has really taken that leap toward becoming a true superstar in the league in his third season. He will be making his first All-Star Game appearance this weekend, along with fellow first-timer Rudy Gobert.

Gobert, while his offensive stats aren't quite as flashy as Mitchell, has been a tremendous presence inside yet again for the Jazz, as he looks to capture his third consecutive DPOY award. Gobert is averaging 14.1 PPG, 15.1 RPG, 1.3 APG, 0.8 SPG, and 2.2 BPG while shooting 60.7% from the floor, 5th best in the NBA. Gobert is a handful for every team to compete against due to his size and defensive prowess, and while Mitchell, Conley, and Bogdanovic get all the offensive attention, Gobert converts his attempts at a high rate of efficiency, making the most of his touches.

Mike Conley, midway through his first season with the Jazz, is having a solid - but not great - season. He's putting up almost 17 points a night with over 6 assists, though he's shooting just 40.8% from the floor, which would be the 2nd worst season FG% wise for him in his 13 year career. He does have the three-ball stroking for him though, as he's nearly at 40% from behind the arc on 6.7 3PAs a game.

Bojan Bogdanovic, also in his first season with the Jazz, has been extremely reliable as a second option for the Jazz when he's been healthy. He did miss 8 games with a sprained elbow, but when he's playing he's putting up over 17 points a night along with nearly 5 rebounds. His percentages have dipped a bit since last year, but he's still shooting at a 41.7/40.9/90.3 split. He's been worth every penny so far in the first year of his contract.

Role players Royce O'Neale, Jordan Clarkson, and Joe Ingles have all been very reliable and ready to step up whenever they need to. Clarkson is averaging nearly 13 points a game off the bench, and while he hasn't been efficient with his shot, he provides a big spark of energy coming off the pine for the Jazz. Joe Ingles also adds nearly 9 points a night off the bench along with 4 rebounds and 4 assists a game, and he's been one of the more consistent shooters for a Utah team that leads the league in 3PT%.

The Jazz, as mentioned, lead the NBA in three-point shooting at 37.6% on 38.2 attempts a night. They've been the most consistent shooting team by far this year, and their reliance on the three-point shot has been kind to them as evidence by their outstanding record. However, perhaps even more impressive has been the defense. Led by Rudy Gobert, the Jazz's defensive rating per 100 possessions is 2nd in the league at 100.6, just behind Milwaukee's 100.4. The Jazz's defense has been absolutely stifling this season, and we'll see if it's enough to help Rudy Gobert land his third straight DPOY award; it's already earned him his first ASG appearance of his career.

There's no doubt that Utah is overachieving right now, but if they're able to sustain the level of defense that they are playing as well as their three-point shooting, they have just as good of a chance as anybody in the league to bring home the Larry O'Brien come playoff time.

It was an amazing series between Murray and Mitchell -- that last shot not going down very much reminded me of the triple Larry Bird launched in the Finals versus the Lakers that everyone in the building SWORE was good, just knew it with their souls ... and it just barely missed going in by the width of a hair.

Conley's shot was like that, I thought it was in for sure.
