Bulls & Pistons Rivalry Continues In The Playoffs
Chicago - The Chicago Bulls are set to make their first postseason run without either Jordan or Pippen on the roster since 1981 and it's a continuation of an ongoing feud between the Bulls and the Pistons. The Bulls faced the Pistons four times in the regular season and they only managed to beat them one time, but it was that one victory over the Pistons where the bad blood really started to build. Ron Artest spent the game getting into the head of Pistons star Grant Hill through constant trash talk and things almost came to blows if it wasn't for them being held back by referees and teammates from both sides. After the game it was made very clear that both teams have no respect for each other through various interviews. However, NBA commissioner David Stern released a statement making it clear that any nonsense like that won't be tolerated and he wants to make sure that there is good sportsmanship throughout the playoffs this year. He said that any funny business will be met with fines or suspensions based on severity of actions and he has no problem giving them out in order to keep things from getting ugly.
