    The Path To Greatness

Welcome to The Path Of Greatness. In this, we will follow the careers of 10 prospects. We will also review any trades done etc. If you would like a prospect, just comment information like name, position, jersey # etc.

Without further adieu, here is the list of prospects:

Mike Cliff: This 6'10" center went to Gonzaga. He dawns #46.

Djordje Krsmanovic: This is the only PG that we will follow. Slated to go later on in the 1st round, Krsmanovic is best known for his mid range shooting. Coming from Slovenia, he hope to play for the Raptors. Krsmanovic will wear #4.

Alex Goldsmith: Known for his height, Goldsmith is 7'7" center. Coming from Nigeria, Goldsmith is known best for his standing dunking ability. He wears his favorite number 49.

Cam Hoy: This multi-position defender from South Florida can not wait to hit the big leagues. Growing up as a kid, he idolized Kawai and tried to have the same style as him. Dawning #26, his 6'7" SF is known for his speed.

Jacob Jackson: Wearing #32, Jackson went to Washington State instead of Duke like his brother. This sharpshooter is also known for his athleticism as well as his mid and long range shooting. Jackson hopes to be drafted top 5. When asked about the rivalry between his brother and him, he simply laughed and said "It is what it is. Ya'll make up the story. End of the day, thats my brother".

Noah Jackson: Coming out of Duke, this SF has a brother also in the draft by the name of Jacob Jackson. This rivalry will be a huge story. Jackson is best known for his sharp shooting. He will wear #28

Nuka Seyde: Known for his vision and passing IQ, Seyde admits to wanting to secure the bag. It does not matter what team he plays for, and he made it very clear that he will always chase the bag. This SG from Wyoming will wear #6.

Jimmy Green: Green is from Fresno State, wearing #35. This beast is know mainly around for his post defense and interior finishing. He told teams that he will remain loyal to the right team.

Steve Acres: Out of Auburn, Acres is the most watched player in this draft. The 6'10 SF is known as an athletic finisher, ready to destroy the competition. His jersey # is 25.

Zack Knight: This 6'11" center has been compared to Mike Cliff. Wearing #21, "The Knight" is a close follower of the San Antonio Spurs. Being from San Antonio himself, Knight can not wait to see whats in store. Knight has been working and is best known for his rebounding and standin dunks.

          Key TRADES around the league

Heat trade: Duncan Robinson, SG / 2026 1st round
Hornets trade: Terry Rozier III, SG
          Winner: Hornets.
Analysis: The Heat have given up Duncan Robinson along with his 5 year contract AND a first round pick. He will be making less money then Rozier, who signed a 5 year contract aswell. Rozier will play behind Hero & Oladipo.
Robinson will come off the bench to help the Hornets, behind Bouknight.

          Cavaliers trade: Kevin Love, PF
Piston trade: Frank Jackson, SG / 2024 2nd
          Winner: Cavaliers
Analysis: The Cavs have finally shed Love's contract. They have Mobley starting, who will save the day. The Pistons have gained yet another big man to play behind Grant, Stewart and Olynyk.

          Lakers trade: Talen Horton-Tucker
          Hornets trade: Mason Plumblee
          Winner: Hornets
Analysis: The Lakers get another big man while the Hornets actually improve their depth.

          Breaking News
The L.A. Lakers have acquired Paul George and Justise Winslow from the L.A Clippers. The Lakers have sent in PF Carmelo Anthony and PG Russell Westbrook in return. The sides have both agreed after days of talking.

With Kawhi starting at SF, George wanted to not only be a starter, but to also play for another contending team. George will instantly improve the Lakers rotation.

Winslow will play backup to LeBron. Being young, many Lakers fans hope that Winslow will learn and pick up tricks while being mentored by James.

Westbrook voiced his anger and how much he wanted out of LeBron Shadow. On the Clippers, he is slated to slip into that starting role and hopefully lead the Clippers to the top.

Anthony has been averaging 14 points per game with two rebounds. He has was visibly upset to be sent off, but such is life.

          Jersey Changes:
Paul George will now sport and take over Anthonys #7 on the Lakers instead of his 13.

Winslow will wear #0 after Westbrook as Avery Bradley currently wears his #20.

            Westbrook shines in debut
In his Debut, Westbrook played 37 minutes. He scored 24, 11 rebounds and a whopping 13 assists.

"It feels amazing. I love the team!" Westbrook was quoted saying. "I cant' wait to play against the Lakers and show them how much I can shine".
When asked how he felt, Bledsoe simply shrugged and walked away.

Lakers Edge Clippers in Game Of The Year
With the long awaited game, the Lakers squeezed by the Clippers by 12 points. George had a decent game, playing 39 minutes. In this time, he scored 17 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists. In retaliation , Westbrook had another triple double. In 34 minutes, he scored 13, 12 rebounds and 10 assists in his return. Anthony stepped in and scored 15 in 26 minutes. The Lakers are 9th in the playoff picture, one game behind the Nuggets and Trail Blazers. The Clippers are currently sitting 3rd with a 37-25 record.
