Jordan Era: Redux
I've always liked the history of the NBA (and my first dynasty was stopped in its tracks by an unfortunate bug), so I'm going to attempt to re-simulate history beginning from the Jordan Era using MJ Wizards' base roster. Will MJ dominate? Will Barkley get his ring? Who will Shaq go to? We'll find out in due time. Stay tuned for more...Tags: None -

Boston Celtics @ Charlotte Hornets
The up-and-coming Hornets showed why they are the team of the future and the aging Celtics are the team of the past with a convincing 129-108 blowout win in the hallowed Boston Garden. Johnny Newman led the way for Charlotte with 26 points on 10-13 shooting with 6 assists, while rookie Larry Johnson showed promise with 15 points and 14 boards and J.R. Reid added in 12 of each. Kenny Gattison (17 points) and Kendall Gill (15 points) also contributed for the victors. Larry Bird (30 points, 11 rebounds) turned back the clock with a vintage performance, and Kevin McHale (25 points, 16 rebounds), Reggie Lewis (20 points) and John Bagley (10 assists) also tried to lead their team to victory, but the former three players were the only players to crack double figures in the Hornets' romp.Comment
